I salute him particularly today, but I salute you ALL every day of the year.
Thanks for your service,

Thanks to vets like Impertinent. We are here because of them. Those who say that Viet Nam was some sort of American adventurism have it wrong.
When politicians decided to give the war to the communists, the world turned its head on the genocides perpetrated by leftist cousins of socialism. Nothing good comes from backing away from the inhuman aspects of socialism/communism. Everybody loses.
Thanks for being there, Impertinent.
Z,
I agree. I was there in 1972. We did our best but we weren't allowed to win. I will always remember being told not to wear my uniform home because of the fact that we had to pass through San Francisco airport to get home. I was 19. I didn't get it.
My family and I owe you a debt Imp. Thank you.
Imp..I really appreciate you, and your patriotism, and what you have done in support and defense of our freedoms, here.
You're one of the reasons our country is the greatest one in the world!
You're in our thoughts, and prayers.
xoxo
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Imp. Thank you for your service Sir.
Whatever is going on Imp, I hope it passes soon. Peace and Comfort Sir.
L&O, if I had seen you in your uniform, I would have walked up to you, shaken your hand, and said thank you. I was one of those Americans who appreciated what you did for our country.
And Imp, my good friend, my hat is off to you, and my heart has always been for America, and those like you who fought the good fight. I'm proud and honored to know you. Thank you for your service and your dedication to the country we love. Today, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm truly lost for words. Imagine that if you will!
But I'll try.....
Thank you all so much for taking the time to be so kind and expressing your support and sympathies.
I'll never forget this Ms. Z ...and all my friends here for the comfort you've given here to me and my family.
God Bless you all.
To my fellow vets...We know that deep down, we have no reason not to be proud and no reason to ever forget either.
I'm truly blessed to be here among so many wonderful, fine and kind people.
Hi Z & Imp, God bless you for sharing this.
I am sorry you're having a hard time of it, Imp. I'm praying for you.
My hubby is a Vietnam Veteran, too. Although he never saw combat action, he repaired airplanes and helicopters for those who flew in and out of danger. Thanks to all vets for the freedom they provide us.
Very nice tribute, Z!
