"Oh, ya," he said.."...a town hall in MONTANA and someone mentions the NRA and they get 3 people clapping.." THAT's MONTANA? No, that's a rigged crowd for Obama. I loved that! Click HERE....Yahooo/TIME says how PEACEFUL it was! How could it be otherwise.......?
UPDATE: Later this evening, I saw the Town Hall in Montana for myself. The American who identified himself as a proud NRA member went on to say to Obama "...and I listen to THEM Cable Channels because I don't like the spin on the others.." (THEM, get it?). Did anybody who heard him notice what Obama responded with? "Oh, you've got to be careful with THEM Cable Channels..." Ya, THEM. Mr. Harvard. Think he really has that bad grammar or this was another HUGE disgusting SLAM at the guy for his? That elitism STINKS in anyone.........but, especially, an AMERICAN PRESIDENT. Oh, man, that bugged me.

I saw that and had to laugh meself
No kidding Z,
what a giveaway huh? I'd say the NRA membership in Montana has to be about 70% at least!
Too funny!

I saw this segment. I can't stand watching Obama "do his thing" usually, and this one particularly set me on edge. His condescension is odious.
Yes, Obama was mocking the man.
But, you know these folks clinging to their guns and Bibles, what do they matter compared to Harvard educated Chicago "thuggers".

This plan to force all Americans to buy over-priced, politically created health insurance, create an economically unsustainable government-run insurance plan, and impose economy-crushing taxes. More than 88 million Americans could LOSE their private, employer-based coverage. Yearly premiums for Americans with private coverage could jump as much as $460 per person as a result of more cost-shifting. Even doctors stand to lose thousands of dollars of income under the legislation. Annual physician net income is estimated to drop by 6.3 percent or $13.4 billion (coming in at an average $18,900 per physician) when compared with current trends.
This is OUTRAGEOUS, and YOU must stop it. Please, do the RIGHT thing -- REJECT H.R. 3200, " America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009," or any other attempt to force socialized health care or government-mandated health insurance on Americans. Thank you.
From the link:
The meeting ended as a recording blared Sousa's "The Stars & Stripes Forever."
How interesting is that! BHO didn't cover his heart when our National Anthem was playing in that one video circulating last year.
As for the bad grammar issue, well, everyone knows that I'm a stickler about grammar. HOWEVER, I've learned that the use of bad grammar does not mean that the user is stupid.
BHO is now in campaign-trail mode with ObamaKare. Yeah, he's good at that mode. Good enough to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people? Maybe. **sign**
Don't have any doubts we will not be letting up on OBamba.
But for now... Have a Beautiful Weekend
I'm glad you all got that 'them' implication.
Good grammar or not, Obama obviously thought it was STUPID or he'd not have repeated it like that......how elitist and nasty of him. Of course, the media didn't notice. right? I wonder if Bush had a really mean spirited statement in the 8 years.....probably not, imagine the media if he HAD?
Always On Watch, my pet peeve is "Me and my brother....." ME AND...ugh.
But, I know VERY smart people who say that and it does always startle me.
Anyway..that's not important these days.
keep fighting, everybody...!
Sounds like I miss all the good stuff down here!
A reporter for the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric last night bluntly stated why that town-haller in Montana was so Obama friendly, it's because Democratic supporters gobbled up the tickets early on. Bear in mind if Katie Couric's show said this it must've been pretty transparent.
We already spend more money on PUBLIC coverage per capita than Britain spends on NHS but we still hear the right wing screaming about socialism. They don't even have a grip on who's playing, let alone the score.
JM..methinks you're busy enough down there! that DIRT FLOOR post of yours got to me..I swear. what a life!
Z-man.."Ya THINK?" 3 people applaud for the NRA and "isn't it amazing Obama had no trouble at HIS townhall meeting" (As if the Red Sea parts for him all on its own just cuz he's the faux moses?)
Ducky...your comment makes no sense at all. Of COURSE they spend little at the NHS, it's service is so rationed they don't have to spend as much.
FIX WHAT WE HAVE, do you GET IT? NOBODY IS SAYING "turn a blind eye to the sick and injured", that PHONY CRAP you leftwingers put on the right.
"Who's PLAYING" is our government..with our freedom.
Ducky, by the way...no comments to Hillary and Pelosi (see video below) talking about how PATRIOTIC and GOOD dissent is for leftwingers?
Let's try again z, it was easy enough to understand.
The British government spends LESS per capita on health care than the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT spends on health care.
The socialism argument is a red herring.
Now you can follow our COST PROBLEM back to the days of St. Ronnie Raygun who established an economic revision that brought extreme PROFIT expectations. This was as much a problem as the aging of the society which is something we have in common with most all industrialized nations. Nations which are not having cost problems as sever as ours.
Hey Ducky, let Britain share a border with Mexico and give free healthcare to every person who crosses that border illegally and then come talk to me..
our government is already spending too much, agreed, they can't even manage that, and they want to add another huge expense? screw you!!
Can't wait until we decide to follow Britains fantastic dental plan.
no Ducky, YOU try to understand:
"The British government spends LESS per capita on health care than the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT spends on health care."
They spend LESS because they're GIVING LESS. simple.
Nations not having severe healthcare problems are the nations where they're so taxed to death.
I keep wondering why leftwingers don't ask themselves why the rich from other countries come HERE for medical care.
Good point, Misfit..thanks.
Does anyone really take this Ducky Wucky person seriously?
Well, Hi Bugs, do you know Ducky's brother Daffy? A couple of pretty mixed up ducks if you ask me.
Pris
Reagan didn't cause the sky rocketing costs in healthcare....Look a little further duhkkky, you know Medicare has been the cause but nobody on your side will admit it.
The cost per beneficiary has risen at a much higher rate for those on Medicare than those on private insurance.
Elbro, they're doing a MARVELOUS job lying about that on all the Sunday Morning talk shows, believe me...
it's ALL the 'big bad insurance comapnies'.......Obama's on that, too.
Just saw Hillary blame CORPORATIONS (oh, did I forget to mention she blames only AMERICAN CORPORATIONS?) for the green house that's KILLING AFRICA...you can't make this stuff up.
