HealthScare and Free Speech....

Always On Watch has an EXCELLENT POST "Dissenters are Political Terrorists" that you ought to read.........HERE. Eye opening........send it to email friends, they need to know this.

And then there is THIS PIECE on how we can save $2.2 TRILLION in healthcare!!? STOP THE PRESSES, Obama. (Or arrest the Yahoo President, THEY published it, not ME) Here's a snippet that makes sense to me:

"Something as simple as hand-washing often can reduce the problem......'Sometimes doctors are the most difficult people to convince to do this,' said Clarke. 'The challenge here is that patients sometimes come in with infections which then spread in the hospital.'The stimulus bill signed by Obama earlier this year includes $50 million for reducing health care-associated infections."

Obama? Just WASH YOUR HANDS. That may work, but maybe it isn't QUITE expensive enough a solution, not QUITE so far-reaching? Sure, this is probably a simplistic solution, but maybe there are others which won't require a COMPLETE OVERHAUL? TRY SOMETHING EASIER FIRST, okay? We all promise we'll wash our hands more. Most of us would just plain like to wash our hands of this whole nightmare, anyway.

I’m going to give you folks that are Obama lovers a little lesson on communism. It is not the human utopia that is proponents try to sell it as.

If communism is so great for the common man then why didn't the Warsaw Pact win the cold war? Why did all of eastern Europe live in abject poverty until after the fall of the Soviet Union? If "Communism deprives no man of the ability to appropriate the fruits of his labor" then why is it that the only real wealth in eastern Europe during communist rule was in the hands of a few elite? The same can be said of the Chinese people today. The government itself is very rich, which is why it can afford to lend our politicians money to buy votes with. The Chinese people themselves though are dirt poor and survive day to day and rely mostly on the "benevolence" of their government. While a few misguided souls such as Michael Moore believe that they have the best health care system in the world, Cuba is another fine example of the "success" of communism. Those people are so happy with that system of government that they are willing to risk their very lives to climb aboard anything that may or may not float in an attempt to get to the United States. I know this because when I was in the Navy I helped to pull some of these people out of the water and save their lives.

You lefties that are fans of Karl Marx and his teachings you are no doubt familiar with another one of his pearls of wisdom: "To each according to his need and from each according to their ability to pay." Sounds a lot like the current policies of this government and is an attempt to make all men equal without regard to the amount of effort put forth by the individual.

The word "communism" itself is contrary to every principle this country was founded upon. Daniel Webster defines it as" a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party." The definition goes a bit further thought to say that "the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people." So much for communism not depriving anyone of the "fruits of his labor". Those fruits belong to everyone and are controlled by the state. Sounds just exactly like what the democratic party in this country has been promoting for a lot of years.

Indeed, if a person looks closely enough at the policies offered by the democratic party of the united states they may have a hard time telling the difference between those policies and the ones of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

Contrast the success of ANY communist country in the world to that of the United States of America since it's creation. Our success here has been unparalleled by any other nation in the history of the world. This countries history is filled with INDIVIDUALS who have come from complete poverty to great financial success. Not because their was some compassionate government official helping them along, but because the strength of the INDIVIDUAL was set free on this land to pursue his or her dreams to their fullest potential.
So grab your books and head back to class. My views on the "essence of communism" are rooted in the reality of history and facts, not the crazy idealistic theories of some left wing college professor, like professor Gates.. Think when you go into a voting both. Don’t just pull the lever for the one that promises the most.

Have you ever been to a communist country? They are lifting the travel ban on going to Cuba. I suggest you make a trip down there and see how well that "shared wealth" policy has worked out for the average Cuban.

The problem with societies like that is that it destroys incentive. Why would anyone put in extra effort to better his or her life if the extra fruits of their labor are going to be shared with someone who just wants to coast along.

I work my ass off and I donate a lot of money to charity and I don't mind doing. However, I do not want government coming to me and forcing me to "share" with the guy next door who sat home all day and played video games.

Yeah yeah, I know all about the federal reserve crap and all your other "wacko" theories. (Did you know that George Bush and Dick Cheney flew those planes into the twin towers themselves? Yeah really, they jumped out just before the planes actually crashed into the buildings)

There are a lot of things about my GOVERNMENT that I do not like. There are a lot of things that need to get fixed. There is nothing wrong with America that can not be fixed by what is right with America

One of the greatest things about America is that if you find something wrong with something you can take steps to correct it. You don't have to be a government power broker, you can be an ordinary Joe who happens to have a good idea. You can then make money off of your idea and propel you and your family up the ladder of success.
All it takes for that to happen is for the government to get out of the way of its people. That is the core principal that has made America great. That is also the core principal that is under attack at this very hour. Over baring government regulations and massive beaurocracies will end all the things that have made America great. Don't let that happen. Stand up and tell them

Can someone please tell me who's a communist here and what about my latest post, or ANY post, led two bloggers to that conclusion? ??

Thank you for the link.

I know the post is long, but I wanted to post something in-depth before going on summer hiatus next week.

Interesting how previous posts of mine -- about Cass Sunstein and Zephyr Teachout -- were forewarnings of what we're seeing now with the White House snitch program and the propaganda war.

You're very welcome, Always. Yes, your pieces have shown this coming.

Mr Z has had some pieces which have really been prescient, too. Amazingly so, as have yours.

I think we Conservatives saw this coming and made mention but hoped we were wrong. We weren't.

Is what Right is Right was talking to Ducky et al. and not you. You are definitely not a communist or anything like it.

"Have you ever been to a communist country?"

Well no, but I did do patrols for several years along the wire fence that kept the population of one from escaping. Does that count?

"The problem with societies like that is that it destroys incentive."

Well not all incentive is destroyed... The incentive to LEAVE is greatly enhanced.

"Can someone please tell me who's a communist here and what about my latest post, or ANY post, led two bloggers to that conclusion? ??"

Hey Z, you're flying the "Solidarnosc" banner. You should know the communists of which they speak. They are referring to Comrade Obama and his adherents that they (we) are addressing.

Z said...

Shoprat must be right, except none of my leftwinger commenters commented on this post....maybe
"Right is Right" and "I'm Here to Say it" had read some other posts' comments and they're addressing the leftwingers here...

They did a great job, but it sure was an eye opener to me to read their opening lines at my blog!

G-Man...good point..the "incentive to leave" is always the choice of socialists; hence, the reason why MOST of them can't vote for Democrats. Ducky's family seems to be the only one I know of which was offered solace in this great country but regrets the day.

ObamaCare...brought to you by the same people who gave us: the housing bubble, the housing crisis, the housing colapse, excessive bailouts of the insurance industry, excessive bailouts of the banking industry, excessive bailouts of the auto industry, cash for clunkers and a myriad of other boondoggles.

So why not trust them with health care?

You would think that the president who advocated inflating tires with saving enough fuel to get us out of the gas crises, would embrace washing your hands as a solution to the high price of medical care. Sheesh.

I know it's old news and stuff but I listened to the guy who's spearheading the birth certificate issue. I didn't know he was a life-long Democrat who filed suits against Bush.
He's got a web site

C'mon. Amtrak runs on time, every if it doesn't really go anywhere.

Z said...

FrogBurger, Philip Berg's been trying to have his case against obama and the birth certificate heard for a while, his suits have been dismissed from what I've read. I'm surprised he's still trying.

Yes, Berg held office somewhere, I don't remember what it was, as a Democrat, he's definitely a Dem.
He just feels strongly that Obama's lying and this 'qui tam' case is fascinating, a new term I learned from reading your link.

This is all just too weird. There are people who say Obama HAS presented it and there are loads of people who say he has NOT presented anything definitive. How can there be a discrepancy if something was THERE for ALL TO SEE??

WHY does Berg persist? That's very curious. There's some woman attorney who has tons of evidence against Obama, too.

It's all interesting and a little disquieting.

I did not delete the comment at the top and I just realized that my blog guru, Elbro must have.
Maybe that's what you were reacting too??? He's the only other one with keys to THIS castle.

Must be. I didn't even think about that when I reacted to you with "Me, a COMMIE?" Sorry about that, folks!

More food for thought on gov'ment healthscare. 64-year old woman in Oregon was turned down by the state run health plan for $4,000/month cancer drug prescribed by her doctor when an old cancer returned. She got a shocking letter from them that they would cover doctor assisted death for $50 instead.

Note for Frogburger: please don't spend too much energy on the Obama birth cert thing. I've heard much about it that sounds fishy, and they've sure done a lot of foot shuffling. But his mother was a US citizen. That should do it - whether he was born in Hawaii or Kenya, or Jupiter.

Z said...

No, Deborah, an American mother doesn't work. Remember, the leftwingers tried to say John McCain isn't American because he was born in the Panama Canal?
It's where the pres is born that counts.

And yes, that case happened in Oregon; the poor woman's died since. They'd give her $50 for a little nightcap but wouldn't pay for her cancer treatments.

But, there will be NO RATIONING, right? (can you believe this is happening in AMERICA?)

Sounds a lot like that tire pressure thing obama was craping on about a while ago.
