OINK! This is HUGE, folks...Sherrod and Breitbart; a NEW SLANT

I was just sent this email....I found it attributed to a blogger called ABRAXAS who writes for undercoverage.net, a blog you might want to check out. Skim through the top stuff, you know most of it, but MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE LINK IN PINK and READ THE REST! DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS, BUT I THINK IT'S WELL WORTH YOUR ATTENTION. Here goes:

Andrew Breitbart is a media genius.
He proved it originally with his brilliant handling of the ACORN ‘hooker’ scandal which he skillfully manipulated so that the corrupt media was forced, against its will, to broadcast corruption in one of Obama’s most powerful political support groups. But Breitbart’s handing of that affair is nothing compared to his brilliant manipulation of the Shirley Sherrod ‘white farmer’ scandal.

It all began last Monday, July 22, 2010. As the country watched in horror, Breitbart released a snippet of a tape on his “Big Government” site which showed an obscure black female official of the Dept. of Agriculture laughing to a roomful of NAACP members about how she’d discriminated against a destitute white farmer and refused to give him the financial aid he desperately needed.

As she smirked to the room, she’d sent him instead to a white lawyer – ‘one of his own kind’ – for help.
The black woman was Shirley Sherrod – and almost immediately she became the center of a firestorm of controversy which exploded throughout the country.

Within a day of the release of that infamous tape, the head of the Dept. of Agriculture, spurred on by Obama, demanded – and received – Sherrod’s resignation.

Breitbart had won.

But then seemingly Breitbart’s actions began to explode in his face.

As Sherrod screamed in protest, FOX News released the entire text of her speech last March to the NAACP.
And there on tape Sherrod was shown supposedly repenting of her racism against a white farmer and instead championing his fight to win funds to keep his farm afloat.

Within hours of that entire tape being revealed, the entire world turned against Andrew Breitbart.
Conservatives throughout the country were enraged that he’d endangered their reputations by releasing a ‘doctored’ tape.
Breitbart, they thundered, had dealt a fatal blow to the conservative media.

I confess that I also was horrified at what I saw as the clumsiness and stupidity of Breitbart in ‘doctoring’ a tape to make a supposedly innocent woman look guilty. But now I discover I have been as guilty of haste to judgment of Breitbart as the Dept. of Agriculture was of Ms. Sherrod.

Only now am I realizing the real purpose for Breitbart’s release of that tape snippet. It was to allow him to cunningly trick the media into exposing one of the most shocking examples of corruption in the federal government – a little known legal case called “Pigford v. Glickman”.

Check it yourself at:
http://pajamasmedia.com/zombie/2010/07/27/pigford-v-glickman-86000-claims-from-39697-total-farmers/?singlepage=true

“In 1997, 400 African-American farmers sued the United States Department of Agriculture, alleging that they had been unfairly denied USDA loans due to racial discrimination during the period 1983 to 1997.”
The case was entitled “Pigford v. Glickman” and in 1999, the black farmers won their case.
The government agreed to pay each of them as much as $50,000 to settle their claims.

But then on February 23, 2010, something shocking happened in relation to that original judgment: In total silence, the USDA agreed to release more funds to “Pigford”.

The amount was a staggering
...... $1.25 billion. This was because the original number of plaintiffs – 400 black farmers – had now.... swollen in a class action suit to include a total of 86,000 black farmers throughout America.

There was only one teensy problem:

The United States of America doesn’t have 86,000 black farmers!

According to accurate and totally verifiable Official USDA 2007 Census census data, the total number of black farmers throughout America is only 39,697. Hmmm... by the Official USDA 1992 Census data the US had only 18,816 black farmers!!
Oops!
Well, gosh – how on earth did 39,697 explode into the fraudulent 86,000 claims?
And how did $50,000 explode into $1.25 billion? Well, folks, you’ll just have to ask the woman who not only spearheaded this case because of her position in 1997 at the “Rural Development Leadership Network” but whose family received the highest single payout (approximately $13 million) from that action – Shirley Sherrod.
Oops again!

Yes, folks. It appears that Ms. Sherrod had just unwittingly exposed herself as the perpetrator of one of the biggest fraud claims in the United States – a fraud enabled solely because she screamed racism
at the government and cowed them into submission. And it gets even more interesting.

Ms. Sherrod has also exposed the person who aided and abetted her in this race fraud. As it turns out, the original judgment of “Pigford v. Glickman” in 1999 only applied to a total of about 16,000 black farmers.
But.... in 2008, a junior US Senator got a law passed to reopen the case and allow more black farmers to sue for funds. The Senator was Barack Hussein Obama.

Because this law was passed in dead silence and because the woman responsible for spearheading it was an obscure USDA official, American taxpayers did not realize that they had just been forced in the midst of a worldwide depression to pay out more than $1.25 billion to settle a race claim.

But Breitbart knew. And last Monday, July 22, 2010, he cleverly laid a trap which Sherrod – and Obama + his cronies– stumbled headfirst into which has now resulted in the entire world discovering the existence of this corrupt financial judgment.

As for Ms. Sherrod? Well, she’s discovering too late that her cry of ‘racism’ to the media which was intended to throw the spotlight on Breitbart has instead thrown that spotlight on herself – and the huge corruption.

Sherrod has vanished from public view. Her ‘pigs’, it seems, have come home to roost.
Oink!
But the perpetrator of that law passed in dead silence leading to unlawful claims & corruption..... is still trying to fool all of US.

Z: Some of the style of the piece seems mildly excitable or hyperbolic but the LINK IN PINK, halfway down the article, has the facts and figures and I urge you to see that. You can't PUT enough lipstick on THIS pig of a story. Trouble is, nobody really IS hearing it, are they. That the mainstream media's not covering this is, well....how shocked can we be? I guess that, today, by now, I'd have to say ...."normal", right?

Whoa!

Now, can this story get out into the mainstream media?

IT MUST!

Z said...

Always, did you read that link? THAT is the meat of the story (should I say PORK?)

I have to admit that I don't think this WAS the reason for Breitbart's original push to get that video out, but who knows ....

Z,
Yes, I did read the link.

I have my doubts about the msm's letting the story get out. But maybe. After all, Sherrod is suing Breitbart.

Now, she might withdraw the law suit.

Always On Watch said...

To clarify my skepticism....The story dated July 27. Has the story broken through at all in the msm? If so, I haven't heard a word.

I admit that I'm not always keeping up on the news, though. So much going on here in this household.

Z said...

Breitbart's a great guy and I was hoping she'd not sue, but now I hope Breitbart makes SURE this information gets out through the suit.
Thanks for the link....

I can't stand by the whole thing, tho I personally see nothing objectionable to the writer's facts, but those facts and figures in the link seem irrefutable.

Z said...

Always, I have NO DOUBT that, unless Breitbart sues, it will NOT get out...that's my implication at the end of the piece.
No, it probably will not :-*(

I heard an inkling of this the other day on the radio. It will be interesting to see where it goes.

FrogBurger said...

My question is, where did the money go? If you get paid for 10 farmers but you only have 1, where's the money for the 9? Did it go to Obama's pocket in lawyer fees? I hope this gets investigated big time. To me scamming the tax payers would be ground for impeachment.

Z said...

Good to hear that, Elbro.

FB, where DID the money go? That was my question, too.

For that matter; WHERE HAS OUR STIMULUS MONEY GONE??

FrogBurger said...

And the money of the bank bailout???

But nothing you can do as the bill stipulated no citizen could file a lawsuit against the gov.

We really are dealing with the new aristocracy.

The Constitution, as beautiful as it is, needs some serious amendments for:
- budget rules
- term limits
- limiting the scope of bills (i.e. a bill should be for one area)
- address executive orders
- make laws unconstitutional if those stipulate citizens have no legal means of action against them

You're going to have to move in pretty mysterious ways to demonstrate that there wasn't bigotry at the DOA.

As late as the 60's it was a written rule that loans weren't to be made to black farmers. This agency has been notorious.

And you'll try to wipe it all away with something on a blog and whine that the county doesn't join you in your very suspect obsession.

Not the rights best day.

Did Prop 8 just get overturned?

FrogBurger said...

Looks like it. Now we need someone to deem healthcare unconstitutional.

Marriage should not even be a government thing to me. It should be a religious matter or individual thing between 2 individuals establishing a contract.

You've got a lot of nerve, Z. How could you have the temerity to question the legitimacy of paying damages to a "farm collective"? What the hell, is a farm collective — an aggregation of of Bolshevik pig farmers?

I'm surprised that the first question isn't: What thinking drove the idea that a proper function of any government is to act as a source of funds for any enterprise. Is that remotely close to the ideas of the Founding Fathers of the country?

When the government gets its big sloppy mitts on funds which have to come from other tax payers in the first place you'll have a country of snot-nosed whiners coming out from under the rocks with their hands out screaming they've been grievously wronged.

You can always count on a blind man in shades and a white cane and tin cup to come out to slap lipstick on any Bolshevik pig, no?

Yes, Prop 8 was overturned.

Now, look for people to sue to have more than one wife. Yeah, harems. Devout Islamists will be on top of that in a heartbeat. Also those "former" Mormons.

Then of course there are those incestuous relationships, they'll be in line as well.

Pandora's box has been opened, and eventually, marriage will be totally undefined and meaningless.

I'd remind the court that the Constitution does not mention marriage. It's a state matter of legal standing.

The court made it a Constitutional issue, and then ruled accordingly.

I have a question, is there anything that couldn't be applied to civil rights?

Ducky, I'm leaving this though you're so ugly with sarcasm and stupid attacks...
I leave it so I can address you with the VERY OBVIOUS:

WHERE DOES ANYBODY THINK THAT THAT ORIGINAL SITUATION SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN PAID TO THE BLACK FARMERS? CAN YOU SHOW US THAT IN THE PIECE WRITTEN BY THAT OTHER BLOG WHICH I POSTED OR ANYTHING SAID IN COMMENTS?

Thanks. It really would help to READ BEFORE you insult, don't you think?

Pris, you've got to hear a black girlfriend of mine give someone hell on the Prop 8 issue "Honey, I know CIVIL RIGHTS issues, and THIS isn't one of them" with SUCH a turn of her gorgeous head! You've gotta love her.
Yes, Pandora's Box, indeed. The funny thing is almost every gay person I know doesn't want marriage.
This isn't about people, this is about elitist agenda.

Waylon, I don't know..the original payment seemed fair.

Sherrod should've quit while she was ahead, but she's greedy and loves the sound of her voice.

Anyway, there are more charges against her here:
Former Shirley Sherrod employee accuses her of exploiting black farm laborers

I don't know if they're true, but it sure doesn't pain a positive picture of the woman or her reverend husband.

Ducky's here said...

Sorry z, but one post at pajamas, a notoriously biased site, doesn't cut much mustard. History has weighed in on discrimination at DOA and this backpedaling by Breitbart is just that.

We already have laws against polygamy. Been on th books for a while without a challenge so I don't see the repeal of Prop 8 doing anything.

A wave of polygamy legislation was predicted after Massachusetts legalized gay marriages.
So far the only thing anyone has noticed is a real uptick in catering business in P-town.

"We already have laws against polygamy. Been on th books for a while without a challenge so I don't see the repeal of Prop 8 doing anything."

Ducky, you don't see anything. Traditional marriage has been the norm for centuries. Not anymore right?

I didn't say this would happen tomorrow morning. I said this will happen. The court just repealed Prop 8. That polygamy law can be found unconstitutional, and also repealed.
You see, Sharia law upholds polygamy. And so far, appeasement is the order of the day. Wait for it.

I keep telling you we are experiencing anarchy from the top down, you're not paying attention.

The left want's anything that tears America asunder. You must know that, you defend anything and everything that does just that!

WOW! Way to go Z! Well done. I never did like her, and the fullness of the tape did little to change my attitude of the arrogant B-tch. Remember she said, "oh it's still about race, don't get me wrong, but..."

Who the hell cares what came after the "but"? She's a pathetic race hustler. A real pile of steaming dog squeeze.

If you don't mind Z, I'm going to pass this link around? It looks like we got us some income redistribution happening here. :-)

No matter what these leftist kleptocrats call it, it's NOTHING MORE THAN THEFT!!

Or marrying your damned brother?

By the way.."one post at pajamas?" you saw all the facts and figures and you relegate it to 'one post at pajamas' because they're not moveon? REALLY?

Cube..bound to happen. People want to weigh in and remind people she's not quite the angel that white farmer thinks she is..not always, anyway. I believe people are made of all different types of stuff, good and bad.

Not to toot my own horn, but when everyone was panicked that Breitbart had screwed up, I said no, Brietbart demonstrated quite admirably that the NAACP hosted and cheered a racist.

And now the idiots in the Sherrod is a victim camp have to eat that she's at the center of a huge case of government corruption and fraud.

Way to go Andrew.

Note that Duck states something like that last sentence every time that a scandal on the part of the left is exposed.

So what would be the rights [sic] best day in Duck's opinion? If the right would shut the hell up and let the left have a pass on everything.

Hi Z, great follow up to the Shirley Sherrod story. I, myself, wondered how Andrew Breitbart posted the out of context excerpt. It seemed so sloppy. What he did with this story is drop a pebble in a pond and the ripple effect took over.

The ruling elite in our government are truly criminals. And we keep reelecting them.

I wonder if enough voters will come to the realization that we need to remove practically everyone representing us today. The stench emanating from that cesspool called Washington DC is sickening.

I've got SO MANY people viewing this from Georgia, I'd personally like to tell you all thanks for coming by and that I and my readers/commenters wish the media was fair and told everyone EVERYTHING.
I'd also like all of you to know that nobody's ignoring human nature, we all do bad things from time to time, but this stuff is just plain WRONG and maybe Sherrod and Breitbart ought to meet on television and hash this out.
Let America make up their minds...black, white...when it comes to fairness and honor and righteousness, it doesn't matter what color anybody is.

Faith said...

I'd seen this background info and had the impression Breitbart didn't have it in mind, that he was only interested in showing the racist reactions of the NAACP. If Sherrod is suing him maybe we'll get a statement from him that will clarify all this. But at the moment it looks like nobody cares and nobody is following up anyway.

Z said...

Faith, I think I mentioned in a comment above there is no way Breitbart mean to do anything but reveal the horrible racism in the NAACP..........but, if this Georgia farmer thing came out, too, more the better.

Except, you're right..it was ALL the rage, this BREITBART IS BAD story. Suddenly, with the new information which shows SHE is SO BAD, everybody's very very quiet.

TYPICAL..disgusting CRAP
