In the Leftist 'perfect world', NOTHING can go wrong...or..........

Yahoo headlines Tuesday night:

"Soldier charged in comrades' deaths showed stress": Stop the war.

"Pet Doors may pose danger to curious children": BAN PET DOORS... make a law

"Rotten office fridge cleanup sends 7 to hospital": Food CANNOT be kept in office refrigerators anymore...make a law.

You get my drift?

Notice that the left has held of referencing the DHS report about returning veterans and possible instability.

We get some very strange laws here in Georgia. Generally, some no name legislator, who is about to finish up their tour, realizes that they have not left their mark on the history of the state. So we get a law that makes no sense at all, can't be enforced, and nobody cares about but the politwerp has carved his niche and is happy.

Ducky, Excellent point. I give it about 3 days.
I don't think the left's been smart enough to draw any analogy. What they're busy looking for is your normal, America loving guy who's returned from a tour and plans an insurrection like Ruby Ridge. Even the Left must know that every soldiering/war situation has brought on something as terrible as this recent murder. Don't you think?

Hermit, help me understand what you said..? I'd like to but I'm not following you. ??xx

Ducky, there are more mental cases walking the streets in every city, than those coming back from Iraq. Thanks, btw, to the ACLU years ago.

Are they all potential terrorists?

Z, can you imagine any parent being dumb enough to be shocked that their toddler can crawl through a doggie door?

This is the kind of thing a parent should have the common sense to consider, and prevent. Parents are responsible for their children. Period.

It would have been so easy to get a doggie door with a lock on it. Or for the parent to block it herself. Not to mention, you can't leave a baby to his own devices, he has to be watched. What happened to playpens?

We have too many laws as it is. Of course lawyers can't have too many laws, they love them. More laws, more money for lawyers.

Ducky,

It's a semantic thing. They'll wait til' he's back on U.S. soil. You won't have to wait long.

In the leftist world, perfect (yeah right) or not, it's always more government intervention and nannying. Whether it'll work or not is irrelevant.
