Mr. AOW bartends at our local VFW. There, the celebration for Monday is filled with a lot of remembering of the meaning of Memorial Day.
We have a cookout too, of course.
Perfect. This is a neat idea of yours Z, to post a cartoon every day for Memorial day.
Isn't it sad that most people will only be thinking about these things?

I know you won't let those around you forget that this is much, much more than just another excuse for a 3 and 4 day weekend.
Remembrance, appreciation, and doing honor to those who have sacrificed on our behalf.
My brother is in town, and he just wrapped up his 20 years of service in the US Navy so we're going a little extra special for him this holiday.
He don't know it yet, though :)
