YAHOO! says you're a bunch of Yahoos for believing THE MYTHS

Here's YAHOO BIAS again...check out this headline:

Majority of Americans Believe Health Care Reform 'Myths'

You see, nobody in the White House or elsewhere can take the time to dispel these "myths" with any certitude, authority, or proof, but they're still MYTHS! I keep asking WHY CAN'T THEY TAKE SOME TELEVISION TIME AND HAVE A GIVE/TAKE ON EACH ISSUE? LET THE RIGHT EXPLAIN AND EXTRAPOLATE AND SHOW THAT THIS BILL IS THE PROBLEM WE THINK IT IS? NOT doing that shows ME something, how about you?

Obama, in fact, admits to not having read the bill (Specter even denies there IS a bill, remember?) but he has 5 books on his vacation (where, Yahoo says, "he's polishing his mind and body") and ONE has "TWO THOUSAND PAGES!!" as Gloria Borcher raved about on CNN the other day. WHAT A GENIUS.......a 2000 page book and our president can handle it! (But he can't read the bill that's 1000 pages).

And, the funniest part is this: "Fewer participants believe "myths" regarding the impact of proposed changes on current health insurance coverage. For instance, less than 30 percent think private insurance coverage will be eliminated. And just 36 percent think a public insurance option will put private insurance companies out of business. "

The one thing we CAN depend on is no private health care insurance available in a few years...that's a given...but that's the 'myth' Americans DON'T buy into? Time for a television debate...rational, reasonable..bring YOUR facts, we'll bring OURS. Until they do that, there are no "MYTHS"....just misinformation and insults to those who aren't buying it. Then there are things like AARP saying they're against the bill but doing a television blitz of advertisements FOR it. WHAT? (by the way, that is one very clever, excellently done ad, I must admit...especially for a bunch denying they're FOR this bill!!)

geeeeeeZ!

I read the six examples in the Yahoo article. So, those are myths?
I have two words for Yahoo:

Prove it!

...as mr. ducky would say, "It's all in the branding."

...and in this case, the media's branding the "right's" positions as "mythical".

It's not Yahoo but LiveScience. The intelligentsia can say whatever they want but people are not fools anymore. Especially when the new budget numbers have been announced.

9/12 is going to be an amazing day, I feel it.

A modern myth is a truth that is not consistent with the liberal worldview.

Myth becomes fact in the hands of die-hard revisionists.

The most blindingly obvious myth is that you can have fine healthcare after placing an infinitely large and expansive beaurocracy between you and your healthcare.

Z-- I checked out The One's reading list; doesn't he read anything written before the last year or two? The list, albeit just a snapshot, reveals a great shallowness and lack of breadth.

What a surprise.

Z said...

Zack, good point....
I think the lack of breadth is similar to his preparedness for the presidency of the United States, too, huh? ZIP.

I don't believe myths but I do believe the items Yahoo calls myths because they are truisms, NOT MYTHS.

Also, they forgot one. NObama said he would cut $500 Billion from Medicare but seniors would not have their medicare affected and taxes wouldn't be used to bolster the system. Ah, never mind, that's not a myth. That is a frigging FAIRY TALE!!
