"RAP" your mind around THIS one....CONSERVATIVE RAP...

Ya, ya...I know you don't like rap, but YOU HAVE GOT TO HEAR THIS ONE!  It's fantastic!

I have to admit I've always kind of liked most rap;  if your head doesn't bob just a TAD while listening to this, I don't know what's wrong with your head! :-)

I've never been a rap fan, but in this case, I love the message!

Nor have I ( ever been a rap fan ).....but I have to admit that it's great to see some conservative black artists using their skills to get a message out that's seldom heard...in rap lyrics.

Imp, thanks SO much for sending this video to me.
Pris, isn't the message perfect...and from Black Rappers....it's SO FABULOUS to hear people thinking for themselves...I just loved it.

As an aside, I had to share this and it's not worth a blog post;

I was flipping thru channels today and there was Olbermann on MSNBC...so I stopped for my monthly giggle; This one took the cake.

He was talking about KARL ROVE and some group he's involved with and how they gave a MILLION DOLLARS to a candidate (as if that was INSANE and reserved only for "VERY RICH REPUBLICANS!"...only seconds after I'd seen that the DNC's just dumped a million this weekend into some ILlinois candidate...I think that bank family Greek guy;..Giunnoulias or something?)...anyway...

...there was Keith, mouth all pursed up as he's want to do ...he talked about this RICH REPUBLICAN POlitical group of Rove's and how they won't say WHERE THEIR MONEY COMES FROM! AND, HE knew that it's from some REALLY rich guy from KY who ...(okay, I had to admit, I was gasping because I was thinking about how MANY people on the left with REALLY huge money Glenn Beck's traced the money back to....to SOROS or other Obama sycophants and supporters)...and OH< MY GOSH..there was Olbermann about to ring the bell on this Republican as badly as Beck proves dirt on the DEMS so often...oh, dear, oh, DEAR, I was a little worried......anyway..the BIG problem was (gasp!) HE OWNS A NURSING HOME! (What? I thought!?)...Olbermann continues where "a man was arrested for MOLESTING SOMEONE!"

I sat there thinking..."that's IT!? I mean, it's not like THE RICH GUY molested somebody, but some creep in a facility he OWNS did..." So, I'm waiting for more; and there AIN'T ANY MORE (you have all seen the tons of proof Beck shows on tons of Dems and COmmunist buddies of Obama's, right?)...that was the worst ol' Keith had on this RICH REPUBLICAN (who Soros could probably buy and sell one trillion times, right?)

I had to share this because it was so indicative of how EMPTY the left is...then that awful Fineman, whom I used to respect (I know, how dumb could I have been?) came on and they went into the Chamber of Commerce/Rove money........as IF that hasn't been proven WRONG!??

I love that McCain was in it.

Harry Shearer did a much better one on the KPRW "Le Show" podcast.

Sampled the Daily Show appearance and ripped him pretty good.

Oh, and Go Giants.

Yep...they're empty all right...constant bowel movements through their pursed lips make them look a little...ahhhh...uncomfortable?

Keith...the laxative that keeps on givin'.

Lack of respect for God or the law of our land or the people they are supposed to represent.

That last thought concerning silence (regarding this evil) being equal to consent is sobering.

:(

When Imp sent me this video and some stills he captured from it, I mentioned exactly the one you mention...silence equaling consent....That one really shook me up, too.
Yet, when we're NOT silent the left goes NUTS with insults and the media's in full derogatory swing!

You know, Z, I really struggle with the tension of being a "sojourner" in this world. Obviously, the United States is not our permanent home, but I believe that what we do with our time here does affect us for eternity.

Ultimately, I do believe we are all in God's hands, but in the US, we, as citizens, have been handed both the privilege and responsibility to wisely choose our leaders and hold them accountable.

It is so discouraging sometimes to see how badly this gift of responsibility has been botched and (considering the extent of the dishonesty and voter manipulation and whatnot) it seems that only God's merciful intervention can right what's gone wrong in our country.

I pray that we, as a people, have truly recognized the cancer we have allowed to fester in our midst and hope the Lord will direct us in our desire to return to truth.

Getting pretty close to justification by acts, Heather?

OT history indicates that God's been known to punish disobedient people by way of political oppression...

Socialism doesn't work because flawed people are involved in the system. There is way too much room for a small cluster of wicked, power-hungry people to grab control over the populace and abuse it.

And Ducky, the abuses will occur at the "basic needs" level concerning housing, food, medical care and education because that is precisely where the lure of socialism is located.

Sorry about the preachy responses to Ducky, Z.

I deleted them and will try to remember to do that elsewhere.

Outstanding!! And I don't even like rap! It gives one hope that we will have the change this country is so desperately in need of.

Heather, your tone and message was just right in the 'preachy' ones and I'm very sorry you deleted them.
How's THAT for my making you 'crazy'?
Christians what his remark about justification shows about his level of understanding and I was happy that you responded so well to it....

LOL! I can't help but love you, Z!

A certain someone's wise words concerning "discretion" were skipping through the back of my mind and I don't want to turn your site into a religious battlefield.

If Ducky really wants to talk about it, he knows how to contact me. I'll tell him exactly the same thing I said here ;)
