David Carradine has been found after having committed suicide. I was a huge fan of his father, the great actor John Carradine whom I had the honor of meeting and talking with for quite a while one night many years ago.......out of respect for him, I post a goodbye to his son.

And please say a prayer for all those people lost in the Atlantic Ocean ... and their many friends and family who are in such extreme shock and grief. Thanks.

RIP David.

Like you, I loved John Carradine. He played Major Cassius Starbuckle in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance...one of my all time favorite films.

Just got finished reading about it.

That's very sad. I most enjoyed him in the western "The Long Riders" which featured the Carradine, Quaid and Keach brothers.

His son is a friend of mine and training partner. I just saw him last Saturday, after not seeing him for years.

Very devastating.

How very sad to hear it was suicide. You just never know about a person's personal demons.

Wha?!? Wasn't he just in 'Dexter' a couple of years ago?

I wonder what pushed him to do it. Poor man.

I've been looking into it and some sources say it wasn't necessarily suicide. I guess we'll have to wait for the ME report.

It really is devastating, isn't it.

Cube, I hope it was a natural death and not suicide; those demons, as you put it, must be incredible to do something like that.

The speculation isn't that it was a natural death, but death by auto erotic asphyxiation.

OH, Cube...you have to be kidding.

But the news is "IN THE CLOSET"
whoa. WHY THERE?

I've seen several sources that say he was hanging in the closet naked and with a rope around his neck and around the nether regions. It may just be hype. I don't know for sure. Either way, it is a sad end.

Master Po: "Grasshoppah, if you milk this cowboy kung fu schtick too long, you'll choke to death."

Sorry, that was bad.

Loved David Carradine in the old Kung Fu TV series back in the 70's.

Everything else he did since then went further and further into self-parody of his Kwai Chang Caine role.

It was probably the Yellowbook.Com gig that pushed him over the edge.
