BAGGAGE

Emotional BAGGAGE....EVERYBODY's got some, right? Whether you go to your Christian faith to help or not, I thought the concept of BAGGAGE illustrated in such a clear, compelling way was important for everyone to at least consider. I hope you'll be blessed by the video. Help a teenager who might need it. Be a blessing! z

amen z, souls will always have baggage because man is weak, and mortal. and nothing he does is going to change that... the question would be does man have any hope of being resurected from this weakness?

WordSmith, did you? :-)
Sue..trust me, it's a struggle sometimes.

Z,

You don't know how much I appreciate you sharing this video. Kinda reminds me of a modern-day "Pilgrim's Progress." Matthew 11:28-30. Only the Bible never tells us to "aacept Jesus" & certainly not that everything will "get better." But, the Bible does tell us to believe in Him, realizing we're sinners & that He died in our place, & rose from the dead so that whoever does believe in Him, receives eternal life! It begins the moment one trusts in Him & never ends. Of course, we're also promised trouble in this life (Jn.16:33) but He's already overcome the world! He'll never leave us especially not in the tough times. Thank you Z!

Thanks for posting this, Z.
(I feel like I say that a lot.)

It's a challenge to trust God, one day at a time.

Trusting him with right now, this minute, helps me to be alive.

If I start thinking too far into the future, my baggage weighs me down.

Thought that, "Baggage", was very moving and a clear message for us all. We all carry it, and it becomes so familiar and a part of us, we hardly notice the burden after a while.

Only when a part is lifted, are we aware of how light and free we feel.
Putting it all at the foot of the cross, was the best thing I read and finally understood as an adult.
It has helped me get through some very tough times.

All children and teenagers need to
know this truth!!
Thank you Z.

Z, why did you consider removing this video? As the video demonstrated, the hardest thing for us is to simply remember to lay everything at His feet. We know, and we understand it with our hearts, but our heads forget.

This reminds me of several performances seen at Women of the Word (WOW). Different, but the same and very, very meaningful.

i missed this yesterday, somehow. god's timing? i think so. i so needed to hear/see this right now. god is great in that he's given us you to show things to us through. well in other ways too, but that ones a biggy...

Glad you liked it, Heidianne.

Maggie, my blog is not a faith blog, per se, and I'm not here to proselytize.......but I DO think this is a valuable video so I decided it had to be seen...those who want to pay heed to the faith inclusion at the end can only benefit; those who don't will benefit by the immensity of a child carrying baggage and how we need to consider our kids and figure out how things affect them are at least aware, you know?

Z, I think it is essential to divert from all-politics-all-the-time. A day for something uplifting is wonderful. You never know who wanders by and your post made all the difference.

Just looking around at the children today and what they go through, breaks my heart.
