Will the MSM show the story NOW? The same clique that has been ignoring this story and its explosive implications also doctored a tea party video of a man "packing heat" to infer that he was a dangerous racist (the "doctoring" part was careful editing so viewers couldn't see he was a black man).

Z, although this is great news, it has to be tempered a bit. This amendment only applies to federal funds in the current transportation and housing appropriations bill. There is still a lot of money in other bills and pork barrel hideouts from the porkulus package. After the SMOKING GUN gets released tomorrow, there will be more cuts, scrapes, and abrasions for ACORN. Don't miss Beck tomorrow, er I guess thats tonight.
Saw this at Average American's blog, who were the 7 sniveling weasels go went for acorn. A tarring and feathering is in order i believe.

Wrong, funding isn't cut off this year. The House would also have to agree to the bill and this will all blow over for next fiscal year.
Just a defensive vote so senators don't have right wing loonies claiming that they "supported ACORN funding bordellos". Still, it's nice to see how little the right knows about the legislative process.
The funny thing is that Dave Vitter (R - Out Calls Only) is proselytizing about this lapse in morals.
