TWO Americans are not PC enough to back down? Are things changing?

Animal Rights groups are angry at U.S. figure skater Johnny Weir for having a little fox fur on his skating outfit. He took in their comments and told them HIS THOUGHTS., one of which is: “I tend to focus my energy, if there is a cause, on humans. While that may be callous and bad of me, it’s my choice.”
While nobody at geeeeeZ advocates cruelty to animals, and the blog owner actually loves animals, I think Weir got it right when he reminded the groups that “Every skater is wearing skates made out of cow...”
The animal groups can whine and complain all they want, we Conservatives honor and respect that, but FINALLY, somebody in the limelight who demanded HIS truth be listened to, as well, and didn't back down. We respect THAT, too.
Kudos, Johnny Weir.

This councilman said he was a "PROUD RACIST" and he's not backing down BECAUSE, his actual comment was "If believing in America causes people to think he's a racist, "then I'm a proud racist." Here's THE'll want to see what's going on. This guy's holding to his statement and you'll see why.

Gosh..maybe something's happening...maybe we can get to where people can actually say what they think in this country without intimidation ....ya THINK?

I think that's wonderful news. Because so many of us have been labeled "racists" just because we disagree with Obama's issues, which is about all of them.

It's about time people are standing up to the Left. Bravo!

One can only hope...and pray!

Kudos to both those gentlemen!

Kudos to both.

I have an idea - let's start having consequences for those calling anyone racist that speaks out aginst illegals.

I guess I'm a racist too! I get tired of people using the 'race' word for anyone that is against the liberal agenda.

People are getting fed up with all the pc crap.

As far as fox fur goes, well, having dealt with foxes as predators of my cats, I don't have much sympathy for foxes.

Those that would treat animals like people will treat people like animals.

Glad to see people unafraid to exercise their Constitutional right!

The animal rights groups are nuts. If they were just against cruelty to animals, that would be just fine. But they take it way too far.

I'm not a big skating fan, but I like this guy.

Beamish, the proof of what you're saying couldn't be clearer. Peta compared the killing of chickens to the Holocaust.

One wonders what manner of thinking leads to such insanity.

All of you are so right...

and Beamish, excellent point.

We've got to get back to common sense in this country,!

I'm pretty sure I heard Barry say that he was working with Congressional leaders to pass a bill outlawing common sense. I'm sure I heard that.

Or maybe it was just that if you ACTED on your common sense, you'd be found guilty of a hate crime. Yeah, I think that was it.

Greywolfe, good to see you! And ya...excellent point.

I've never heard of Johnny Weir before, but the tactics used by Friends of Animals makes me wanna wear fur.

SO low class of them.

Well, illegal immigration is a problem. One that we haven't made any progress toward solving (St. Ronnie Raygun's blanket amnesty didn't do it as he promised).

Possibly if we grew up and either admitted it is strictly an ethnic issue or managed to get past our bigotry we could get somewhere.

With stiffs like this guy running around it just gets more difficult. How's the bigotry working out for you folks?

Z said...

Ducky, spoken like a person who just can't open his mind to the fact that being against ILLEGALITY is not BIGOTRY.
Thanks. But, of course, if you don't love America, or respect her sovereignty, what would you care how many people are coming in and causing so much damage? That's a point.... so, how can I blame you for your thinking?

On animal fur, i'm going to borrow leftists view on abortion, if you don't like animal fur, then don't kill one, but imposing ones views on others in such personal matters is racist and bigoted of the rights groups. They should be ashamed.

MK..well said.
