That is INSPIRATIONAL! Thanks for digging it up Z!
orson welles and charlton heston may have been the two greatest voices to "memorialize" z.... goood stuff... hope you had a great labor day... my "labors" have kept me away from your dear blog far toooo long.... good to be back!!
You thought right. I enjoyed it muchly. Really moves the emotions when you hear something so deserving get such a fine recognition.
It´s been so long since I heard Orson Welles' voice, I never realized how much Kelsey Grammer sounds like him, so I suppose he could talk like that today. But who he could talk about is a more difficult question to answer. Maybe a blogger.
Wonderful to hear...and no, they don't speak like this anymore, do they?
BTW: In reference to your question over my way about Germany...I was stationed there in the late '80s. I had a wonderful time in a wonderful place...and couldn't wait to get back to free (well, sorta free) ground here in the States.
Boy, this one is really making the rounds
just posted an item that is closer to home ---follow the $$$ LA-CA...give me your take - OK...

Z, this is wonderful. Battle Hymn of the Republic, my favorite to sing when I was in choir in HS. It's not easy to sing with a lump in your throat. So powerful.
Orson Welles was perfect for this. That rich, compelling voice, and with such sincerity.
Thanks Z.
