Beamish's response to Ducky on the Brown election and Conservatism.........

How could I NOT publish this comment as a post?: Enjoy, fellow Conservatives:

What's that quip you always use, Ducky?

Oh yeah.

"Tie a can on it."

This was a victory for conservatism. A triumph over your beloved leftism.

Here we are, one year to the day that Obama was sworn in as President. Obama, the leftist, the candidate ENDORSED by the Communist Party USA in the 2008 election. Your boy.

We'll have none of your cap and trade energy tax. Socialized medicine ain't gonna happen. Big wins for Republicans in the House and Senate this coming November.

And Obama's disapproval ratings in polling are slightly higher numbers than the disapproval ratings of every item on his agenda.

America hates Obama. America hates his agenda.

And, if you're not awake yet, America hates leftism.

A conservative won a US Senate seat in the bluest of blue states.

Not by appealing to moderates, but by being a conservative.

Moderates came to the conservative mountain, not the other way around.

When you burn your low carbon emitting votive candle to your Stalinesque portrait of the Messiah Obama tonight, weep and gnash your teeth.

Reaganism is still alive.

Thanks, Beamish....I didn't even ask if I could do this. I hope you don't mind. Bravo, my friend.

Yeah Baby. Next step is making sure th educational system doesn't brainwash kids. Otherwise you'll end up like France with people happy to pay the carbon tax to protect the environment. Or thinking the market is the problem, even after 40 years of gov-stimulated economy,

Great retort to Ducky, Beamish! Thanks for highlighting it, Z.

Beamish, this was a vote on the health care bill primarily plus an absolutely abysmal campaign by Coakley.

If Mike Capuano had won the primary (lord knows why he didn't) this would have been a yawner.

It's also a vote for a second but directed stimulus since folks in the Libertarian sand box don't understand that the "private sector" can't dig its way out of this hole.

Then we have China playing with the money spigot today and the Street responded with a nice 200 point drop. Pretty precarious times and if you think tinkle down economics is the answer well ... they've been pissing on your head and calling it rain for some time now.

... by the way Beamish, Massachusetts already has a health care bill similar to the Federal proposal but a lot of us were pissed at the idea of subsidizing flyover country deadbeats.
Let St. Louis pay its own way for once. Bunch of damn flyover welfare queens.

Z,

Gah! If I had know you were gonna spotlight me I would have put on a cleaner-ish t-shirt. ;)

Ducky,

Numbers don't lie. Some Democrats have already jumped the sinking ship, announcing they ain't running for re-election in November. Harry Reid's in trouble. Probably already writing his concession speech. Barbara Boxer is in trouble. Obama's approval ratings are near toilet level. Polls indicate more Americans identify themselves as conservatives than moderates or liberals.

This is the effect of one year of Obama, the golden child of the left. The hope. The Messiah.

Conservatism ALWAYS beats leftism when the conservative RUNS AS A CONSERVATIVE.

We're seeing the clash of political ideologies we should have had in 2008. Obama is everything the right warned America he would be.

And now, everyone sees. And they're rejecting it.

We'll hear no more "the right is finished" talk out of you, now will we?

Socialism is a great idea until you run out of other people's money, huh?

Beamish, you might also want to check out the turnout in minority districts that have usually gone Dem. They stayed home.

Obama hasn't delivered anything that was expected. It may have been a rejection of Obama but not for the reasons you bring up in your fever dream.

And keep an eye on those folks after they get another 4 or 5 years of this crap. Oh you are going to see something. You surely are.

Martha Coakley lost the election because Harry Reid decided to make a political payoff to Senator Nelson with taxpayer money while our President applauded it. Coakley suffered and lost ground although she still was going to win. Then Reid made another backroom deal with SEIU that pissed off most of us Union guys who know our representatives don’t represent the rank and file union guys doing the actual work. Coakley suffered further losses. Brown gained even more momentum. And then there was the secret over night closed door meetings that was the straw that broke the Camels back... (I think) And the list went on and on..

Just did a little checking. The misery index for the messiah was sitting at 12.92% for then month of December. That's the highest it's been since our last "one and out" liberal wet dream failure of a president... Jimmeh Carter.

One look at Wright proved the Right right.

Why everyone in the electorate couldn't see it is beyond my feeble powers of comprehension.

The huge dip in the market today surprised me given the large upsurge yesterday at the news that Scott Brown had a good chance of winning. My first thought was that Soros and the other members of the Internationalist cabal that pulls strings behind the scenes to our detriment had done something to manipulate the market.

Why would CHINA choose today -- the first anniversary of King Barack's Coronation -- to make a move to upset our currency? I thought they'd like him, since he's a fellow Communist dictator at heart.

Uh huh. You got jacked by the brothers, huh?

I'd rather look at the reports that Coakley's "get out the vote" efforts in areas of Massachussetts that went heavily for Obama in 2008 ran into solid Brown supporters.

And I'll note that Obama's polling in Massachussetts at the same time is way way low.

Dress up your shit sandwich all you want. You still gotta eat it.

Ducky should do like me: if you don't feel like your homeland doesn't reflect who you are, then adopt a different country. This election says a lot about the American people. Mistrust in government and love of freedom is in the blood, very much like socialism or statism is in the blood of the French, except me.

So go live in France and take my spot. Good luck finding a job ;-)

Thanks, FrogBurger, well put.

Joe's America...look at yourself: Are you really SCOTT BROWN!? Congrats on your new blog; I urge everybody to go read you...nice stuff.

Ducky, I have to admit you've got guts writing here after Beamish's amazing comment....keep fightin'...maybe it'll make you feel better.
You see, Ducky, a lot of us feel Obama's about as bad as we can get and that we'd have rather skipped going into debt to china and been driven down to the point we had to be built up again, too...sort of what you described as your reason for voting for Brown....But, see, we want America built up without the debt, with our self respect and AUTONOMY and SOVEREIGNTY and that's the place you and most of us part ways, I guess.
Give us LIBERTY......

G-Man..is that right!? geeeeZ

Beamish, I'm SURE that if minorities stayed home that's because they understand the health care bill and were digging their feet in for a better one, ...right? :-)
Oh, I'll just BET they stayed home to show rejection, like the usual reasons for minorities to stay home. (man, Ducky, you can't make this stuff up!!! it's so funny!)

People stayed home because they've LOST INTEREST, Ducky...
Who's important is the ones who have NOT lost interest and TRUST ME, Conservatives don't give up quickly on this country.

There's another quip for Ducky to swallow... "elections have repercussions". The libs all felt empowered to shove that one down our throats so now they can test out its flavor.

Its hilarious how the excuses fly, but at the end of the say, facts are facts. Obama wasn't elected because people loved his proposals so much, they loved him because of his charm and pretty speeches. The evidence of this is easily verifiable, as virtually no one wants his version of healthcare reform, his stimulus packages, and his rampant socialism.

Z,

You know as well as I do that every report of black voter intimidation by police that has ever been forwarded came from a district ruled by Democrat police departments.

Ducky's comment about minorities staying home in Massachussetts was a non sequitur. Maybe he's mad they didn't steppenfetch for the Dems this time.

Or maybe, coming as this election did mid-month, Ducky's talking point magazines haven't arrived in the mail yet. Brains on mail order and all that.

beamish, I absolutely agree and hope you saw my previous comment as sarcasm.

Highboy...it's amazing...the truth hurts, doesn't it.

"It's also a vote for a second but directed stimulus since folks in the Libertarian sand box don't understand that the "private sector" can't dig its way out of this hole."

Ducky, the only thing that can dig us out is the private sector. Or should I say, climb out. That is if the administration would stop digging!!

The fact Fannie and Freddie are being given essentially a blank check by the government to continue the practices which preceded the economic meltdown in the first place, shows the left in Washington is still shoveling as fast as they can. Evidently the hole isn't deep enough for them.

This illustrates that the far left want's us on our knees, and doesn't care about a healthy economy. They want control and power, and the best way to have that, is a helpless, needy, populace.

The government, through Fannie and Freddie, will have control of a huge percentage of "private property". Which of course would no longer be private, but beholden to the government, and we're paying for it.

And you complain about susidizing St. Louis? I thought you believed in redistribution of wealth. Make up your mind genius.

What we need is a big tax cut, which would stimulate the economy like nothing else and allow the free market to work.

Targeted stimulus is unAmerican. The government has no business choosing winners and losers. So far the beneficiaries have been special interests, including unions.

Well Ducky I'll end this on a positive note. We aren't helpless and we'll fight back as proven again yesterday. This is just the beginning. Stay tuned.

The biggest ignorant comment you've posted. Ask the French if the public sector has created jobs. Ask any country on the planet with a strong gov if they have a good and prosperous economy. The stats prove there's a correlation between the size of public spendings, government size and the lack of prosperity.

After the hit we took, corporations are going to save because they're afraid the spendings and a potential second stimulus are going to sink the economy. Any business man would look at the deficit and be worried that it's going to result in more taxes or inflation, and therefore a bad economy.

Stick to French avant-guarde movies, Duckette.
