Heheh. It is clever.

This reminded me of an old joke...

Did you hear the one about the old ladies who took a tramp in the woods?

The tramp died.

That's histerical! Sad, but histerical.

What Woods this be I think I know.
There Tiger’s lost and full of woe.
He will not see us gazing near
This Woods whose troubles grow and grow.

His wayward horse may not be queer
But rises when Temptation’s near
Between this Woods and gross cheesecake
The Darkness grows and causes fear.

Poor Tiger gives his horse a shake
Revealing what a sad mistake
His life has made. We jeer yet weep
At easy virtue on the make.

Poor Woods’ career’s been dark and deep,
He failed his promise bright to keep.
He plays golf well, but he’s a creep.
Who dares no longer make a peep.

"Unhoo"...very cute addition to the cartoon!

So will the Tiger roar anew,
retake his place among the few?
Or will this scandal be the end
of his career and marriage, too?

This reminds me of the talking legs news story I heard recently on the networks about Rachel Marsden, a former co-host of Red Eye, once known as Canada's answer to Ann Coulter, who was booted off Fox News and escorted out by security guards. Marsden says on a blog:

I was a “talking head.” I’m not a big fan of the term. “Talking head” implies the presence of a brain, which isn’t always the case. The American cable news network from which I was sprung mostly selected their female talking heads for their tits and legs. I guess nicknaming them “talking tits” or “talking legs” would be overdoing the obvious. It would also totally bust the trailer trash viewing majority who watch the network as the closest thing their old lady will allow them to get to porn.

I have long suspected that that was a significant factor in Fox’s popularity.

that IS funny, psi bond, since most of the beautiful FOX journalists CAN actually talk and think...they do a great job. Sounds like a little sour grapes to me, doesn't it? (maybe she wasn't quite beautiful enough?:-)

I was wondering last night as I giggled again at Olbermann and Rachel Maddow in that they never have anybody who they don't 100% agree with! Isn't that wild? I'm thinking FOX's numbers are going sky high because people don't want to hear people who CAN'T think and argue with facts and figures. Nearly every FOX interview has the left side represented...I think that's important.
Yes, it finally dawned on me what was missing about the two far left shows and it was interesting discussion, not just a Greek Chorus....not just the safety of being a big talk show host who doesn't have to DEFEND their stances.
The Morning MSNBC Show does have some guy who actually talks with Conservatives and actually sides with them from time to time..much better thinking/viewing.

From the reports of her love life, that she wasn’t beautiful enough can’t have been a significant factor:-)

That’s funny, Z. I think it’s important for the other side to be heard without screaming rightwing talking points over them, as often happens on the primetime Fox Views shows.

That Olbermann and Maddow never have conservative Republicans on is not true. On the other hand, Glenn Beck never has on anyone who disagrees with him, but I am sure you don’t giggle about what he is saying. Odd.

Yes, it finally dawned on me what was missing about the two far left shows and it was interesting discussion, not just a Greek Chorus....not just the safety of being a big talk show host who doesn't have to DEFEND their stances.

Has it dawned on you yet that you can hear news criticizing the Obama administration on those shows and coverage of news stories not heard on Fox that may not reflect well on Republicans? Speaking of Greek choruses, what is with The Specual Report? We use to hear from one liberal and two rightwingers besides the rightwing host, but quite often now we get three rightwingers on the “All Stars” panel promoting rightwing lines of attack against liberals in their commentaries. Krauthammer used to make a pretense of impartiality, but he has clearly given up that pose.

The Morning MSNBC Show does have some guy who actually talks with Conservatives and actually sides with them from time to time..much better thinking/viewing.

Have you seen Morning Joe, also on MSNBC? With Joe Scarborough. It’s not a new show.

But to get back to the subject, whatever may be your partisan perceptions of the various networks we have, it is undeniable that there are a conspicuously large number of foxy, mostly blonde model-types reading the news on Fox. Some may have fan clubs. I think Laurie Dhue did. What happened to her, huh?

The FOX women need to be heard before anybody speaks without knowing.
The Glenn Beck show is expose'...there's no need for the other side, even though he's been pleading with the WH to come and address the issues; so far, no good...they're afraid, I suppose.

FOX talk shows get into heated discussions; nobody yells at anybody to stop them from being heard, but, as I said, if you don't watch, you won't know.

What are you however incoherently trying to say here?

Even a former Fox host is conscious of the copious supply of Laurie Dhue types reading the news and commenting on issues, and no experienced Andrea Mitchell types.

The issue is not what they say but why all of them were chosen.

The Glenn Beck show is expose'...there's no need for the other side, even though he's been pleading with the WH to come and address the issues; so far, no good...they're afraid, I suppose.

You ought to be giggling over the Beck show, if you are going to be an equal-opportunity giggler over shows that don’t have guests to present the other side of strident positions, which is what Beck is all about. His so-called exposés are melodramatically staged, shrill anti-Obama attacks. Everybody knows that his special red phone for WH calls is merely a showy melodramatic gimmick intended to embarrass the administration, which can be exploited whether or not the WH calls.

FOX talk shows get into heated discussions; nobody yells at anybody to stop them from being heard, but, as I said, if you don't watch, you won't know.

If you truly believe that, Z, then you are not really listening to them. On Hannity’s “All-American Panel” on Monday, for instance, Bob Beckel is almost never allowed to finish a sentence or make a point before he is overwhelmed by one of the three rightwing ideologues in the ring. Last Monday, Hannity repeatedly interrupted him with a string of talking points that he reiterates like mantras throughout his shows. Laura Ingraham, a frequent substitute host for O’Reilly, and O’Reilly himself always interrupt and yell over a liberal on the show who wants to answer a question in his own way without being forced to accept the stridently partisan framework that is imposed. The commentators that are often used for heavy hitting for Fox’s major partisan attacks---Dick Morris, Karl Rove, and Newt Gingrich---are put at the opening of the show and are allowed to make their prepared points unopposed and unchallenged. Meanwhile, Alan Colmes can rarely get in two cents or a complete point over Monica Crowley, with whom he must always share his airtime on the network.

BTW, notice the calm, almost hesitant style of this leftist creep.

Once upon a time the LEFT did all the screaming.

Now that OUR side has caught on and has been using LEFTIST tactics against the left, the left -- as full of guile as the Serpent in Genesis -- is toning DOWN.

There's no SINCERITY in any of this. It's TACTICAL in the left's endless struggle to gain absolute power.

Shakespeare’s fictional character Polonius says that in Hamlet. Your post needs more context to explain what you mean.

Accuracy counts for a bit.

Perhaps, in order to draw Fox watchers who require super-duper telegenic faces and bodies to focus their attention, Fox could get James Cameron to create an avatar for Helen Thomas's appearances on Fox World that makes her look like Laurie Dhue.

I love Helen Thomas. She is American icon. It looks as though she will live forever.

What would the White House press corpse be without her?
