Ronald Reagan honored by Hungary

It seems that Hungary has unveiled a statue of Ronald Reagan in (very) beautiful Budapest to show their appreciation for his leadership in helping to end communism.  HERE is the article, which shows that Condi Rice,  former U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the House majority whip, and several members of the Hungarian government attended.

What struck me as odd is that no White House people went to represent America? I'd have thought any sitting administration would send someone to honor a previous president who is so honored abroad?  Perhaps they weren't invited, that's a definite possibility, but.......REALLY?  And, maybe I'm wrong and one of you will find a list of White House participants....please link them, I'd appreciate that.

Anyway, this is a wonderful gesture on Hungary's part and I wanted to blog it here.

"Reagan will be like David walking past Goliath," said Baranyi, a 24-year-old journalist and sociology student. "The place will have a new meaning and a new atmosphere."

God Bless Ronald Reagan.

Also, I want to thank Beamish for saving GeeeZ by practically taking the whole morning to get me back into my blog.  You bloggers don't want to see BAD REQUEST ERROR 400, but ...word to the wise:  then drop you cookies!  Thanks, Beamish!  xxx

Frasier: Elect the LOON?!

I watched a rerun of the television show Frasier last night, some of the best comedy writing ever, of course.  Here's the scenario of last night's episode:

Frasier was promoting a friend for Congress and had him to his home to tape a commercial for him.  As they stood on Frasier's balcony overlooking the night lights of Seattle's downtown buildings, the wannabe Congressman, a friend of Frasier's, told him he'd like to confide something...and he did.    He told Frasier he had been abducted by aliens.

Of course, Frasier was stunned and then very upset that he had to go inside and tape an ad promoting this person he'd discovered is, well,.... a loon!   He did tape the spot, but he was nervous and struggling over the script which was so complimentary to the candidate!   Niles watches his brother's weird delivery and suspects something's up and beckons Frasier to the kitchen where he asks "What is WRONG with you?"

Niles convinces Frasier to tell him what's up....Of course, Niles is shocked when Frasier tells him.   He can't believe this wannabe Congressman, Phil, is such a loon and poor Frasier has to promote him.   BUT, the next sentence is what caught my attention!

Niles says "But, we have to elect him, we can't let the other guy win...what about the environment!  what about education!  what about the ARTS!?"    They shudder at the thought!.........and Niles finally admits "well, heck........it's better to have this LOON elected than the other candidate.....yes, he can be changed!  He'll need a lot of therapy!"   But, what the heck, they both decide, it must be better to elect the nut!

That sounded so familiar I had to share it with you :-)   Kelsey Grammer is a staunch Conservative, so this must have rankled him!

Soros,Media Matters.......and Mustang

PLEASE read MUSTANG'S excellent piece HERE , send it to friends and suggest they contact their representatives.....Enough's enough.  Thanks.

Indecent? Sad?

This strikes me as wrong.....A woman died and they computer generate her into an older age and put her on a magazine next to her son's wife as if they're happily walking along?  Can Diana and her memory ever rest?   Is it just me, or does this smack of almost indecent?
Maybe it's just me, maybe this strikes some as cool....imaginative, etc.   What do you think?

Four Score........another way of looking at it?

An older man walks into a bar wearing a stovepipe hat, a waistcoat and a phony beard. He sits down at a bar and orders a drink. As the bartender sets it down, he asks, "Going to a party?"

"Yeah, a costume party," the man answers, "I'm supposed to come dressed as my love life."

"But you look like Abe Lincoln," protests the bartender.

"That's right. My last four scores were seven years ago."
ya...ya..I just couldn't resist :-)
By the way, THIS LINK I found while googling for my image shows who they think is Lincoln at Gettysburg in 1863...it's a photo only discovered in 2007 and maybe you hadn't yet seen it, either;  what a fascinating glimpse of the past... you can see a man in the distance with the stovepipe hat on and experts think that is Abraham Lincoln...very cool.

Pride.........and Prejudice?

Wife: Seattle bomb plot suspect is proud American

He "IS" a "PROUD AMERICAN?"  Really?  That title was provocative enough for me to want to read  more.....  HERE is the article it headlines.

You'll see, waaay down the article, that his wife says this bomb suspect is 'proud to be an American, loves his country, loves his family.'   He has a funny way of showing it, doesn't he, considering he was arrested for having "allegedly" plotted to attack a Seattle recruiting center........here is information that shows just how 'proud' of America he is: (sarcasm there, trust me):

"We must establish jihad," Abdul-Latif said in a video posted in May. "I don't care what anybody says about that: You can turn me in to the FBI or whatever. We need to establish jihad with the tongue, with the heart and with the hand."
In particular, Abdul-Latif singles out U.S.-born Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. The United States has put the radical Muslim leader, now in Yemen, on a kill-or-capture list, something that irked Abdul-Latif about President Barack Obama.
"He's made war against Islam," Abdul-Latif said. "He's even put a hit out on Anwar Al-Awlaki, our brother sheikh — may Allah protect him."

Yes, those muslims we are told by leftwingers we don't have to worry about sure do give thinking Americans something to worry about, don't they?

Here's his lawyer gearing up for the trial:

Abdul-Latif reported having "a lot of abandonment" growing up, the report said. He was raised by his mother until he was 12, when he moved in with his father, who was absent for long periods of time "and neglected to provide enough food and other essentials."

Are we going to now have to guarantee happy childhoods AND entitlements to everyone just to make sure they don't wig out on us?

How do we find and combat Muslims, or anyone else, with these intentions and where are the Muslims who don't approve of this behavior and march in the thousands against it?   Wouldn't that be a comfort?  But, then, there's always the one who'll blow things up.   It's not dissimilar to the situation with Israel and Palestine;  Palestinians are allowed to live there and peace settles in and then, out of the clear blue sky, a Palestinian blows up an Israeli bus of innocent Jews. CNN covers the atrocity that's been done to innocent Jews in Tel Aviv for five minutes and then covers the Israeli retribution to Palestine for twenty minutes....but I digress..............

Do you think this attack situation is going to step up in the United States now?  And, if Israel can't handle it in that tiny country with their amazing intelligence agencies and a pro-Israeli government working hard against it, how will WE?

And what the HECK kind of title on this story was THAT, anyway?  How about "was thought to have been a proud American?"  ??  Is there a reason to mislead like that?  And, do you think he's a "one off" case?  Yes, we know he's "off", but.........  And are we prejudiced for suggesting there might be more with similar plans who are said to be "proud Americans" by their family and friends?

Breaking News: Blagojevich convicted of nearly all charges

HERE is the information.  I think things might get much more interesting now...as he pleads leniency.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Marriage Certificate; only for gays these days?

It's mostly my leftwing friends who live together without the benefits of marriage and do just fine and very frequently remind all of their friends that "WE DON'T NEED A PIECE OF PAPER for anything, particularly not to show OUR LOVE!"   (the piece of paper meaning the marriage certificate, of course)  So, roundly told off in ever-so delicate leftwing rhetoric, one slinks into the background as a dinosaur with a marriage certificate and licks one's old fashioned wounds :-)

On the other hand, it's these same leftwing friends who believe that "piece of paper" is highly necessary for gays.   "They should have that marriage certificate and all the rights!"   Why, if straights don't need it or want it in many cases, must gays have one?  I had two gay couple friends years ago  and they were perfectly happy living together, held no malice toward anyone, and didn't care about marriage at all.    They sure didn't seem to need that "piece of paper."
Which gays need it to 'show their love'?

hmmmmmmmm

Good news to start the week with........

Well, HERE is some good news..........remember THIS post I did a few weeks ago about footballer Tom Brady's mentor, Tom Martinez?  He was told he had weeks to live but it seems to have been wrong....He's much better!  Please read the article.  Here is a snippet:

"....a second opinion Martinez received at UCLA's medical center this week revealed that the primary issue with his health may have been a pacemaker he received right around the time that the more somber diagnosis was made. "I'm feeling better and I'm optimistic after being almost completely certain that I was going to die," Martinez said after the pacemaker was adjusted. Amazingly, he felt good enough on Saturday to attend his 33rd annual quarterback camp
Now, the man who taught Brady how to be a quarterback (the two conferred about Brady's mechanics just recently in a meeting that also included Pats receiver Julian Edelman could very well be in line for a kidney transplant. After his condition was reported on Facebook, several people volunteered to help. A donor was recently found, and Martinez will undergo further tests to insure that he's strong enough to handle the procedure. From there, a heart transplant might be a possibility as well. "Incredible, isn't it? They might try to do a double transplant if everything works," he said."

The point of my blogging this?  First, to give you the upshot to my post I'd published for the reason that I thought the guy really handled his imminent death with such dignity and love for his friends..........AND to remind us all that sometimes things look much bleaker than they really are.
May this story give hope to someone who's reading this story and that it's rewarded like it was for Mr Martinez.......you never know.

Sunday Faith Blog

Good deeds can keep on giving...........
A friend wrote me and others this week asking for any encouragement for her grandmother, 88 years old, who's been given 4-8 months to live.   They're a family of very strong Christians, but they're very sad, of course. My friend wants to help lift her family up so she emailed some of her friends asking for particular words of encouragement and scripture that would help.

The next morning at 3 AM, I woke up and thought about a bag I'd received from our friend and blogger Elmer's Brother (Ray) and his mother, wife, and children, after Mr. Z and I first learned of his diagnosis of incurable Amyloidosis 2 years ago now.

I found the manila envelope and poured its contents on my desk and out came the thin strips, little squares, and folded notes all of which had encouraging, inspirational Bible Scripture on them.  Some were embellished with stickers and other little things and I remembered how it cheered us up no end just to think of people in a different State who we didn't even know that well working so hard typing and cutting and gluing and spending so much time for us.  It was a treasure to us then and it is a treasure to me still.

In that melancholy mood, under my desk lamp glowing brightly in the still-dark morning, I picked the scriptures I thought were right for someone who knows she's going to be leaving this earth.  I typed about 15 of the them on an email to my friend and sent it off with compliments of myself and Ray's family, including the story of how we'd received such words of encouragement from them.   Doing that lifted my own spirits dramatically.

My friend emailed me later that morning with thanks to me and to Ray's family...she included
"I think this (going through the verses she got from me and others) is building MY faith, so I know what you mean when you say you enjoyed typing yours up."  and "I'm blessed to know it was a great comfort and encouragement to you and Mr. Z."

I spoke to Elmer's Brother (Ray) yesterday on the phone and thanked him again for giving me those things with which I was able to help my friend and he said his family's going to do another bunch soon as encouragement for his Pastor....they prepare them and take them in the night to friends' homes and lay the little papers of Scripture on their cars so, when they go out in the morning, they have all those words of encouragement to make their day!   I thought that was a great idea and one worth passing on!

"For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." Philippians 2:13

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  Ephesians 2:10

Have a wonderful Sunday........I'm going to try do something nice for someone, like Ray's family does;  you never know just how far it might go.

Soros: How far will he go for the next election?

PLEASE read THIS WHOLE ARTICLE and digest it and send it to people you know would want to see it.  Americans need to know just how far the Democrats will go in the coming elections.  I warn you, this will make your stomach churn.   Here are some excerpts:

A small tax-exempt political group with ties to wealthy liberals like billionaire financier George Soros quietly helped elect 11 reform-minded progressive Democrats as secretaries of state to oversee the election process in battleground states and keep Republican “political operatives from deciding who can vote and how those votes are counted.”
Known as the Secretary of State Project, the organization was formed by liberal activists in 2006 to put Democrats in charge of state election offices, where key decisions often are made in close races on which ballots are counted and which are not.
The group’s website said it wants to stop Republicans from “manipulating” election results.
“Any serious commitment to wresting control of the country from the Republican party must include removing their political operatives from deciding who can vote and whose votes will count,” the group said on its website, accusing some Republican secretaries of state of making “partisan decisions.”
SOSP has sought donations by describing the contributions as a “modest political investment” to elect “clean candidates” to the secretary of state posts.
Named after Section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code, so-called 527 political groups — such as SOSP — have no upper limit on contributions and no restrictions on who may contribute in seeking to influence the selection, nomination, election, appointment or defeat of candidates to federal, state or local public office. They generally are not regulated by the FEC, creating a soft-money loophole.

See the inferences?   Very cunning, isn't it.   I was hoping to see mention in this article about the horrid ways Republicans have stolen votes and committed fraud;  but, alas.   Imagine if a Republican group was known to be doing what this liberal one is?    Imagine the outrage in the media?

It goes on to say:

Democrats accused Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris and Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell, both Republicans, of manipulating the elections in favor of GOPcandidates — charges Mrs Harris and Mr Blackwell denied.
“Does anyone doubt that these two secretaries of state … made damaging partisan decisions about purging voter rolls, registration of new voters, voting machine security, the location of precincts, the allocation of voting machines, and dozens of other critical matters?” SOSP asked on its website.

Oh, yes, a lot of people doubted that!  And, in that climate of hate and mistrust and anger and leftwing media power, no Democrats could prove otherwise?  The Democrats couldn't prove anything but this Soros-backed project, SOS, is formed and blames that  for its inception?   Is anybody buying that?  REALLY?

The article goes on and on and you'll want to read it, you must read it to be informed and active.  Please sign up for working the polls in November 2012.  I've already related several stories of Democrats running my precincts, and have other important information of voter fraud from the left HERE, HERE, HERE, ESPECIALLY HERE and HERE, THIS AMAZING ONE!, and THIS YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST READ

Please, let's REALLY get clean voting back into this country..........we can see what's being done against it.  Republicans, nay, ALL AMERICANS,  should want to go back to NO early voting days (Europeans vote on weekends to make sure people can vote, why can't WE?), no "provisional ballots," and voting with an ID that's swiped and can't be presented at another precinct,  but......it's too much to do, too expensive...and our democracy hangs in the balance, as you can see in this article.

If this group is so upstanding and wants openness and honesty, how's about helping elect Republicans with outstanding, sound reputations, too?  Or are Republicans the only stinking filthy lying voter fraud party?  :-)  Imagine anybody not (Hint: I doubt that the men in the image here are Republicans)  See HERE and HERE.

By the way, if anybody can find information about this Secretary of State Project in the NY Times or Washington Post, I'd like to see it: I Googled, but the information is only in Conservative venues.  Funny, I'd have thought...for transparency and honesty, that.............well.................   (what was I THINKING?)

This country is perilously close to CHANGE nobody HOPED for.............................but Soros.

Constitutional Confetti?

That's the Constitution being shredded from the bottom up.......it's TIME MAGAZINE'S Fourth of July cover.    HERE is the article you might want to read, from which I italicize the following paragraphs (though many deserve discussion here) :

Here are a few things the framers did not know about: World War II. DNA. Sexting. Airplanes. The atom. Television. Medicare. Collateralized debt obligations. The germ theory of disease. Miniskirts. The internal combustion engine. Computers. Antibiotics. Lady Gaga.
People on the right and left constantly ask what the framers would say about some event that is happening today. What would the framers say about whether the drones over Libya constitute a violation of Article I, Section 8, which gives Congress the power to declare war? Well, since George Washington didn't even dream that man could fly, much less use a global-positioning satellite to aim a missile, it's hard to say what he would think. What would the framers say about whether a tax on people who did not buy health insurance is an abuse of Congress's authority under the commerce clause? Well, since James Madison did not know what health insurance was and doctors back then still used leeches, it's difficult to know what he would say. And what would Thomas Jefferson, a man who owned slaves and is believed to have fathered children with at least one of them, think about a half-white, half-black American President born in Hawaii (a state that did not exist)? Again, hard to say.
The framers were not gods and were not infallible. Yes, they gave us, and the world, a blueprint for the protection of democratic freedoms — freedom of speech, assembly, religion — but they also gave us the idea that a black person was three-fifths of a human being, that women were not allowed to vote and that South Dakota should have the same number of Senators as California, which is kind of crazy. And I'm not even going to mention the Electoral College. They did not give us income taxes. Or Prohibition. Those came later.

Z:  I refuse to believe that any writer, even for TIME MAGAZINE, still doesn't understand the 3/5 Compromise,....when will they learn, or is this just to continue the misinformation?  And no, they did not give us federal income taxes, they'd have been grieved by it.  Odd that Stengel would be so insistent that the framers couldn't have known the specifics he lists above when the Constitution isn't about case by case situations but about so much more than that.

A constitution in and of itself guarantees nothing. Bolshevik Russia had a constitution, as did Nazi Germany. Cuba and Libya have constitutions. A constitution must embody something that is in the hearts of the people. In the midst of World War II, the great judge Learned Hand gave a speech in New York City's Central Park that came to be known as "The Spirit of Liberty." It was a dark time, with freedom and liberty under threat in Europe. Hand noted that we are Americans by choice, not birth. That we are Americans precisely because we seek liberty and freedom — not only freedom from oppression but freedom of speech and belief and action. "What do we mean when we say that first of all we seek liberty?" he asked. "I often wonder whether we do not rest our hopes too much upon constitutions, upon laws and upon courts. These are false hopes; believe me, these are false hopes. Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can even do much to help it."

Z:  But, if it 'guarantees nothing', why do so many say it guarantees same-sex marriage rights or encourages illegals or champions health care for everyone??   I'm thinking Mr. Stengel just might be all about proposing the Constitution supports those things, no?  And why is it that liberty, according to someone like Mr. Stengel, only seems to exist for those who might deny the will and liberty of the majority?

The Constitution does not protect our spirit of liberty; our spirit of liberty protects the Constitution. The Constitution serves the nation; the nation does not serve the Constitution.

That's what the framers would say.

So, geeeZ readers....what would YOU SAY?
I don't see how a Constitution serves any nation which doesn't respect and uphold it.

Gay Marriage, "you guys"

NEW YORK –By ERICA WERNER and JULIE PACE, Associated Press Erica Werner And Julie Pace, Associated Press
President Barack Obama praised New York state lawmakers who were debating landmark legislation Thursday to legalize gay marriage, saying that's what democracy's all about. But the president stopped short of embracing same-sex marriage himself.   Z; so, wait....what's democracy about here according to Pres Obama?...gay marriage or debating?  He doesn't endorse it (he will after the 2012 election if he wins, wait for it) but he "praised" the lawmakers?

"I believe that gay couples deserve the same legal rights as every other couple in this country," the president said at a fundraiser in Manhattan, his first geared specifically to the gay community. Coincidentally, the long-planned event occurred just as lawmakers in Albany were debating legislation that would make New York the sixth state to legalize gay marriage.

That served to spotlight the president's own views on same-sex marriage, a sore point with gay supporters who've otherwise warmed to him. The president has said his views are "evolving," but for now he supports civil unions, not same-sex marriage.  (Z:  and, of course, 'evolving' today means he's cozying up to the idea, as if anybody who's not for same-sex marriage isn't EVOLVING, right?  Very progressive :-)

"Traditionally marriage has been decided by the states and right now I understand there's a little debate going on here in New York," the president said to laughter. He said New York's lawmakers are "doing exactly what democracies are supposed to do."  (Z:  if it's  state thing, how does a couple married in one state ever move from that state to a state that hasn't EVOLVED? :)

Debate on the measure continued into the night at the statehouse, and the outcome was uncertain.

As Obama spoke a handful of people shouted out "marriage!" And Obama said, "I heard you guys."

Z: "I heard YOU GUYS"?  Like, how very cool, you guys.

SO...YOU THINK HE'LL COME OUT FOR LEGALIZATION OF GAY MARRIAGE BEFORE THE 2012 ELECTION OR JUST AFTER, IF HE SHOULD WIN?

Gert Wilders acquitted

HERE, finally, is some good news.   Gert Wilders  has a long background of promoting the notion to "not tolerate the intolerant"   He's fought to expose Islamist hardliners in the Netherlands and is called a racist and worse ("rightwing!") because of it, but read the link above at his name and you'll get a clearer understanding of him.

Here's part of the article:

Ties Prakken, a lawyer who represented immigrant and antiracist complainants, agreed that “there is no appeal possible in the Netherlands,” and said she would instead bring the case to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, accusing the Dutch government of failing to protect people from incitement to discrimination or violence.
“He’s poisoned the atmosphere,” she said. “It’s normal now to say in the Netherlands that the immigration experiment has failed. The climate has worsened, and he is both one of the instigators and one of the symptoms. It’s not like it was 20 years ago.

Z: It's failed, but because of the Dutch?  And, of course, there weren't as many Muslim hardliners in any Western society 20 years ago.  And, by the way, who has made the climate worse, those Dutch who are fighting for their country and their cultural integrity?  Apparently, the Netherlands  must acquiesce to pushes from Muslims in their country.....here's an interesting bunch of statistics and the Wikipedia piece makes it appear groundless, but.......what else is new?

In May 2006, a poll by Motivaction / GPD (1,200 Dutch adults +/- 3%) found that 63% of Dutch citizens felt that Islam is incompatible with modern European life.  A poll of June 2004 found that 68% felt threatened by "immigrant or Muslim young people", 53% feared a terrorist attack by Muslims in the Netherlands, and 47% feared that at some point, they would have to live according to Islamic rules in the Netherlands.

I suppose one could say these fears are silly and all these people have no reason to believe this, but the one saying that would have to have a terribly low estimation of the Dutch and their experiences in their own country.

Wilders' acquittal is a strike against censorship and a blow to Islamists who seem to feel that Western societies deserve to be pushed to the limit of their 'tolerance.'

When Muslims can live amongst Westerners in those Westerners' countries without pushing for Sharia or threatening widescale death for every perceived slight to them, perhaps we will not need a Gert Wilders?   Or we can insult him with the nastiest of epithets and expect to continue our way of life, which we and all societies, are entitled to.   Or aren't we?   America, too, did better when her immigrants came for freedom, not welfare, and for the AMERICAN dream which includes learning the language, absorbing the culture, learning her history and championing her American future, not having immigrants fly their flags and be offended at anything American.

I'll never understand why there can be people who don't understand that every country has a right to their individuality, their own culture, everything that makes that country what it is...etc etc.....and that immigrants might want to fit in, not balk, demand, decry, insult, and threaten.

z

afghanistan..........what do you think?

So, you heard by now that Obama's taking 33,000 troops out of Afghanistan next September..............what do you think?
I'd guess maybe it'll calm down over there now; after all, who tells an enemy when you're withdrawing before you withdraw?  Won't the Taliban just bide their time now?   Obama's people admitted to preliminary talks with the Taliban;  Will we be giving them money to back down?  Some think talking with the Taliban is our best best, some have doubts...what about you?

What do you think of this withdrawal and why mention it so early?  Why NOW?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, MR AND MRS PRIS!!

Jon Stewart "FALSE" on FOX

HERE is an article by PolitiFact, of the St Petersburg Times, showing that Jon Stewart's assertions that FOX's viewers are "the most consistently misinformed media viewers" is FALSE.  Here are some excerpts from the linked article:

Fox News was just about at the national average -- 19 percent of Fox viewers scored in the high knowledge category, compared to 18 percent of all respondents -- but this time a handful of news outlets scored lower than Fox did. With scores ranging from 17 percent all the way down to 9 percent, they were CNBC, local television news, network news, morning news shows, television newsmagazines, personality magazines, religious radio, the Weather Channel, CBS News, Access Hollywood and similar shows, and in last place, the National Enquirer.

And once again, particular Fox shows scored well above the average. Hannity & Colmes was one of only four choices to exceed 40 percent -- the others were the New Yorker/the Atlantic, NPR and MSNBC’s Hardball -- while The O’Reilly Factor scored 28 percent, or 10 points above the national average. (Hannity & Colmes even exceeded Stewart’s Daily Show in this poll, 42 percent to 30 percent.)

Viewers of at least one show on Fox scored quite well -- The O’Reilly Factor, of whom 51 percent made it into the high knowledge group. That made it equal to National Public Radio -- a longtime target of conservative complaints about liberal media bias -- and only three percentage points behind Stewart’s own show, at 54 percent.

Fox actually scored better than its two direct cable-news rivals -- MSNBC, which is a liberal counterpoint to Fox, and CNN, which is considered more middle-of-the-road. Also scoring lower than Fox were local television news, the evening network news shows and the network morning shows.

So we have three Pew studies that superficially rank Fox viewers low on the well-informed list, but in several of the surveys, Fox isn’t the lowest, and other general-interest media outlets -- such as network news shows, network morning shows and even the other cable news networks -- often score similarly low. Meanwhile, particular Fox shows -- such as The O’Reilly Factor and Sean Hannity’s show -- actually score consistently well, occasionally even outpacing Stewart’s own audience.

UPDATE:  I just researched an image for Stewart and learned that he conceded last night based on the article above (I hadn't heard that yet, I saw the article first)...HERE is that story. The video there doesn't work for me, maybe it will for you.  Stewart concedes to the information above but apparently went on to find any mistake FOX ever made :-)

Some media analysts are saying that the leftwing media will be stepping up its attacks on FOX as we get closer to the elections....it'll be all KILL THE MESSENGER.... as if they have anything to worry about Obama getting reelected?  Would that the American public was as informed as FOX's Dem and Rep viewers are.
To give credit where credit is due, I now see Yahoo headlines is showing that the truth "shreds" Stewart's claims.     Well, I'll be darned.

(now read below and have a laugh!?)

Dentistry and politics??

For a little LEVITY in an otherwise GRIM political scene today:
My dental hygienist knows I have a Conservative blog and she's a Conservative, too...
This morning, we were laughing and talking (I told her that she'd have to give me a discount for the comedy floor show I was providing as she laughed!) and then she started on the teeth cleaning and I kept talking, of course, as she dug around and poked and prodded with the metal instruments.  I always marvel at the way she understands what I say with my mouth wide open and today I knew that one thing I'd said was completely indiscernable, except she answered totally appropriately.   I said "Ann!  How could you understand that!?" (or , better, "Ahh...ow ood oo unneran at?"    Without missing a beat, she says "it's my second language!"     THAT was funny;  I hadn't thought about it, but Dental Hygienists really are bilingual!

Then, she continued her work, I was silent for a change, and she started telling me I shouldn't clench, etc., and continued working and chatting to me when, suddenly, out came "...so maybe you need this one tooth's filling replaced..."........silence.....................work, work........".....I don't like Jon Huntsman, either."

"EITHER?"  We hadn't even mentioned politics all morning!     That was THE biggest non sequitor I have EVER been exposed to and did we laugh!  "Where did THAT come from?"  I asked her!  She said it's been on her mind that she likes some of the candidates but they're not glib and slick like Obama....too true.

I hope this made you smile............my smile looks shinier and whiter today!
Here's something weird...I was at LL's blog and my word verification was SOLIB.   as IF!

A Persian waiter gave me a lot to chew on.............

My sis, mother and I had lunch with the Axis of Evil Tuesday.   There's a Persian restaurant that's been in my neighborhood for years and I'd never tried it for some reason.  Finally, a dear Persian friend who happens to have been a Muslim but converted to Christianity, invited me to go there about 2 months ago.  It's fabulous food and I've been back about four times since.  More than you need or want to know, but it sets the stage for this story:

Yesterday, we were served by a waiter I'd not had before.  He was very charming and friendly.  We talked about the name of a yogurt/water/ice/dry mint drink the Persians call DOUGH (pronounced DOOGH) which we Armenians call TAN (pronounced tawn)....it's very refreshing and delicious and my grandmother used to make it a lot so drinking it brings back happy memories.   When "Mo" the waiter told us the word for it in Turkish, I asked "Are you Turkish?"

Mo said "No, but I wish I was!"    I asked him "Where are you from??"  "Teheran......but I don't like to say so because I don't like being part of the Axis of Evil!"    I said "But, most Americans don't dislike the Persian people, we dislike the government.......and I wish our government had helped the Persian students last summer..."  He said he wished that, too....... I asked him why he thought we don't like the people and he talked about the hostage situation you will remember finally ended the day Reagan took office..." those were regular students who took your Americans hostage........those weren't government people but they were influenced by them!"   He added that he didn't blame Americans for feeling as they do about people from Iran.

The time with him was like a look into a Persian heart, a look I'd never imagined.  I was so glad to meet him and to hear how he feels and I knew he couldn't be alone in those feelings.  He said he's been here four years but he has very little accent...he told me most people in Iran speak English.  Mom asked him if he was an American citizen and Mo said "No, not yet, but I hope to be."  Then I joked with him that, with Americans of Armenian descent, like we are, saying you're Turkish to us could be a bit of a problem!" and he laughed and gave us the statistics of the Armenian genocide, years and numbers of dead...this guy is no dumby.

The food was good but the conversation was better.  I think understanding happens when we hear the people, not their governments.   I wish you could have met Mo.

By the way....next time you make Basmati rice, first saute finely chopped cilantro and green onions and then throw them into the water in which you're going to steep the rice........OH, man, was that good.

Breitbart .....Are you brave enough to listen?

UPDATE: If the video won't work for you, please click HERE and watch.  You won't be sorry.

This will frighten liberals;  Breitbart (let the hissing begin) was a liberal, he heard Rush Limbaugh on the advice of a friend, and now, as a Conservative, he says "excuse me while I save the world" on the cover of his new book RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATIONWARNING TO LIBERALS:  you won't have the guts to watch it all the way through, except to insult, but you COULD learn something.  Really! Andrew did!

And, yes, I know.......I'm going to get comments about Andrew and Planned Parenthood and SEIU and prostitutes (did you see the Nutroots guy at their convention demanding Andrew answer if he'd ever had sex with a prostitute?  They just CAN'T be civil when they're that frightened of the light).......and, if my lib trolls are true to their past, I'll get comments about what a coward Andrew is (try it yourselves, pals, see how cowardly you can be).

Conservatives: please pass this video along.  (did you know Andrew started the Huffington Post?)
(thanks Mustang and mike)

Naked biking and saving the environment... :-)

Folks in Portland, Oregon, took to their bikes recently to draw attention to...........skin cancer?  No.   A rousing display of low morality?  No, but it worked!  To show just how loony liberals can actually be?  No.  To show how many bicycles Portland's got?  No, no.......it was to........draw attention to ENERGY!  How energetic!  Here are some sentences from the linked article:

"This is just a way of drawing attention to the need to be more green and replace fossil fuels with natural power," said Ken Johnson, who was completely nude and body-painted grey.

"I am going all the way" nude, said Xandi Silvaggi, adding, "it is all about saving the environment."  (Z: he has a pretty high estimation of the power of his nudity, huh? :-)  And, when I was in high school, 'going all the way' meant something entirely different...I hope he doesn't mean THAT on a bicycle:-)

The Portland nudist/cyclists have turned the event into a festival, with a pre-ride event and post-ride parties featuring both clothed and naked partying which lasts well into the night.  (Z: I'll just bet a LOT of clothed guys go to "participate" in the energy-saving naked partying, huh?!!)

Portland Police don't arrest the naked riders. They cite the city's extremely tolerant public indecency code as permitting such activities as mass nude cycling.   (Z: I thought "public indecency code" was a good name for that, don't you?  I'm glad they're so 'tolerant'...too bad it's always the poor people who don't really want to have to look at some old 72 yr old overweight geezer have to be the 'tolerant' ones, huh?)

You ever think of biking nude to save the environment?  Do you think it took this to bring attention to it?  Did it work for YOU?  :-)

Nude Miss USA? Will it come to that?

1950 and 2011

I know they have Miss Nude America (or I suppose they do?) but I'm talking about the more mainstream contests here, based on pictures from the past:

Every time I see pictures of the Miss America or Miss Universe swimsuit competitions, I wonder if they'll ever just go nude with the banners across their........oh, wait, the 2011 contestants don't even... wear the... banners ...anymore :-)  OOPS! :-)

Anyway...do YOU think the same thought when you watch? Could it ever get to that?!!

What do you think?
and CONGRATULATIONS, Miss California, for winning Miss USA.......I don't really care WHO won, but since she's a California girl from about 20 minutes from me, I have to congratulate her!

Yup...there she is...beautiful!   (can it get skimpier?)   How about in 10 years? !!  Will that bikini be old fashioned!? ?

Paraprosdokian.........these are really good

This sounds like it's Armenian, but it is not :-)
A paraprosdokian is a figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected in a way that causes the reader or listener to reframe or  reinterpret the first part. It is frequently used for humorous or dramatic effect, sometimes producing an anticlimax.

Sunday Faith Blog

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever....Amen.
That's not the best recording but it's one of the nicest bunch of voices I've heard.......I hope you enjoyed it.  There is nothing like a Welsh men's choir.

I want to wish all the fathers who read GeeeZ a very Happy Father's Day and, for all of you who've lost your dad's, like I have, I don't have to tell you to remember him.  I hope you all have good memories like I do.
Mine was super smart and fabulously funny but had a terrible penchant for playing with words, which I told him was why I first moved out of the family home!  If you were ironing, he said "you have a pressing problem?"  If we were eating fish, we heard "...just for the 'halibut'" ... if Mom was making waffles, you'd have to hear "How WAFFLE!"   How anybody that intelligent could find those funny is beyond me :-)  But, I loved him for it and would give anything to hear him do another one!  (and I use them myself, now, I have to admit!)

Do you have a DAD STORY you can share?  Please do!

"For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just..."  Genesis 18:19     Did he ever. Thanks, Dad.  Love you.

after obama and boehner's golf game is over and the media proceeds with pictures, take a look at how most of them are going to be obama with his hand on boehner's back.  wait for it.

Media's all Conservative..........from GAWKER

"The most successful lie conservatives have ever told is that we have a liberal media. We do not. We have a corporate media that is so obsessed with appearing balanced that they've turned into glorified publicity machines who are addicted to non-stories like Weinergate and routinely ignore more important items. Combined with the fact that Republicans and the Tea Party have pushed the conversation so far to the right that anyone purporting actual liberal or progressive views is immediately ignored, derided, and labeled as an evil socialist (as if there's something wrong with being a socialist), we get a media that will spend hours and hours talking about Anthony Weiner's crotch shots yet we don't hear a peep about Clarence Thomas' conflicts of interest."

"Commenter" Bd posted this, from Gawker, as a response and I thought it was too funny not to use as a post............By the way.........this was only a comment in response to a Keith Olbermann ad for his new show which starts next week.  Do you see what they're doing?  They did this to FOX but the other way around.  Before FOX opened, CNN was bemoaning the conservative channel opening soon and maligning it as much as possible to set seeds of doubt in viewers' minds (thankfully, people saw through it and it's the Number 1 news channel by far).   For Olbermann, they're building it up that the mean ol' Right has maligned him that you can be assured that HE HAS THE ANSWERS and if you don't believe him, you're a product of the RIGHTWING MEDIA :-)  It's a pretty good tactic, really!   :-)  Sadly, his numbers won't quite reflect his hubris, but..they can hope!? (by the way, check out GAWKER, that upstanding font of gossip has a new story on Bristol Palin that shows how important it is we Americans read GAWKER.  heh

Here's a comment I found made more sense:  "When conservatives can reliably count on media operations as powerful as the NYT, AP, Reuters, NPR, CNN, MSNBC (has anyone told Olberdouche how astonishingly lily-white his network is? Where are the minorities, Keith?), then Olberdouche and MMFA might have grounds to bitch. Until then, it’s all motes and beams."   Exactly.

I'll be happy for any responses ..............Sadly, it's Saturday and less blogging happens, but I hope some of you come around and weigh in about the CONSERVATIVE MONOPOLY OF NEWS IN AMERICA! :-)

Trial TICKETS?

Have we come to THIS?  People are fighting over getting in line to see a young woman accused of killing her child's trial?   And there are TICKETS to a TRIAL?
Does anybody live their own life anymore or are we so dependent on Reality Shows that we have become a nation of voyeurs?  Seriously creepy.

Ronald Reagan..........great story teller!

You have just got to watch this!   SO good!

Chris Adolf Christie?

HERE is quite a piece about union people calling Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey "Adolf Christie".

The gathering at which that was used opened with “Good afternoon brothers and sisters. Welcome to Nazi Germany.”

If a Republican said "Barack Adolf Obama" about anything, how long would he be in his job?
Actually, I could be in trouble with Blogger for even having written that.......you all know that.

And check this out, more that was said at that gathering:  “It took World War II to get rid of the last Adolf Hitler. It is going to take World War III to get rid of Adolf Christie. Are you ready for World War III?

Were they going to pass out guns after having said that, or...?   And, is Janet Napolitano going to list the unions, as they have far-right Conservative groups, on the Homeland Security Watch List?   And, by the way, why don't you hear the term 'far left Liberal groups'?

that's all.  Nothing much more to say, is there.

Please pray for a lovely young woman who's a friend of mine. I promised anonymity, but God will know who you're praying for!  She's having surgery at 7:30 PST this morning and I'd appreciate so much  your sending up a prayer that all goes well and she recovers beautifully and quickly;  Wisdom for the doctors as they work on a situation with her eye, etc.  And please pray her headaches go away after the procedure. Thanks SO MUCH!  I know she and her family appreciate you, too.  Z

Romney seeking employment....media on the alert

Mitt Romney to voters: ‘I’m also unemployed’

 by Holly Barry...for Yahoo!

It's a line that's sure to come back to haunt Mitt Romney.
At a campaign event in Florida today, the 2012 Republican frontrunner met with a group of unemployed workers who talked about their challenges looking for jobs in the struggling economy.
After they concluded, the former Massachusetts governor suggested he should tell his own "story," according to the New York Times' Jeff Zeleny.(another article's in that link)
"I'm also unemployed," Romney replied, with a smile.
The comment was clearly meant to hint jokingly at Romney's bid for the presidency, but it was also an odd statement coming from a candidate whose financial situation is so far removed from his audience's. A former head of Bain Capital, Romney is said to be worth at least $200 million—wealth that has enabled him to concentrate on running for president full time for the better part of the last five years.
But Romney's audience was in on the joke. According to Zeleny, the group "chuckled" along with Romney, with one man asking, "Are you on LinkedIn?"

Z: Are we really this sensitive now?  And do we allow leftwing columnists to set the mood and the tone?  Both Miss Barry or Mr Zeleny mentioned  how the crowd chuckled good naturedly with Romney at his comment about being unemployed but both imply this was problematic for him.    REALLY?  When the group there, in the context of the moment, didn't find it troublesome?  Isn't it a joke?  They know what employment he's seeking......they know he doesn't need a job.
We need to be careful when we read these things...........but, are most Americans?  I think not.

z

Brats rule?

I just heard a little 4 year old tell her mother "MOM, don't DO that EVER again!"  and the mother said "I know, I won't.."   I couldn't believe what I heard!  And it reminded me that, yesterday, my hairdresser yesterday was talking about her sixteen year old son and how she can't talk during TV shows when he's around.   (SHE can't TALK in her home because of HIM?)  She also talked about some special school she's trying to get him into and how she's hoping HE likes it.  (I'm trying to picture my mother worrying if we liked something she felt was best for us when we were in our teens! :-)

I could list a lot more of these absurdities and I think you could, too.

When did kids start to RULE and parents lost their control and how did it happen?   I know all my mother and dad had to do was look at us and we behaved;  and they hadn't beaten us, we just respected them and knew we'd better shape up 'or else'...and the 'or else' was something I can't even put my finger on.  They didn't threaten us with a terrible enough 'or else' ... but we knew.  We'd not want to disappoint them.   I know I and my siblings weren't special, most of you probably felt that way;  so where did that respect GO?

Is this good for our society and is there any going back to children with respect?  Honestly, I can't blame the kids, can you?

Tee for Two.......Obama and Biden are playing golf ...

....no, that's not the beginning of a joke!...........they're linking up to play golf Saturday.  HERE is the article on it and here are the parts I found interesting (in bold) and my comments:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama and Republican leader John Boehner will hit the golf course on Saturday with many hoping that over 18 holes they can knock Washington's troubled debt limit talks out of the rough.
Obama and Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives, will play golf together for the first time and discuss how to reach a deal to raise the country's $14.3 trillion debt limit by August 2 to avoid the first default in U.S. history.

So........that could be interesting, huh?  It gives Boehner and Biden's handicaps in the article...check it out.  And, the article says "Traditionally, out of respect to the commander-in-chief and his guests, the scores in a presidential golf match are not publicly disclosed."  bummer!

Under the bonhomie that will be on show during the game, the stakes could not be higher. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has warned that failure to raise the borrowing cap by August 2 will trigger turmoil in the bond markets and economic "catastrophe."

Except some people don't think so....but they don't add the alternate viewpoint here, of course.

The White House says no debt deal will be struck during the golf outing, but the subject will be broached.

Well, there goes that sense of optimism.......why bother to suggest that no deal will be struck?  What's the point of that?

Boehner told reporters on June 1 that the White House rarely telephones him, while administration officials privately gripe that Boehner has refused invitations to state dinners.

That was my favorite part of the article......Boehner would like the White House to call him to try to get business done (as Speaker of the House, you'd think they might?) but the White House is griping he won't have dinner with them?

Do you think this golf game could help?

Pawlenty.............in Thomas Sowell's opinion

Is Pawlenty Plenty?

He lacks charisma and pyrotechnic rhetoric. And that’s a good thing* (Z:see below)

The Republicans’ confused assortment of announced presidential candidates — as well as unannounced candidates and distant possibilities of candidates — seems to be clarifying somewhat. The withdrawals of Donald Trump and Mike Huckabee, as well as the withdrawal of much of Newt Gingrich’s staff, seem like a much-needed weeding out.
Although Mitt Romney has been leading in the polls, his lead over other potential rivals has been slim. Being a “frontrunner” this far ahead of next year’s nominating convention would not mean much, even if Governor Romney’s lead and his support were much bigger than they are.

The albatross around Romney’s neck is the Romneycare medical plan that he signed into law in Massachusetts. His refusal to repudiate Romneycare means that, as a presidential candidate, he would forfeit one of the strongest arguments against Barack Obama, who has Obamacare as his albatross. Nor is an about-face on Romneycare a viable option for Mitt Romney. He has already made too many other about-faces for voters to trust him after another. He has painted himself into a corner.
The articulate Newt Gingrich might be the best Republican to go toe-to-toe with Obama in presidential debates — and a lack of effective articulation has been the Republicans’ big weakness for years. Try to name a Republican renowned for fluency besides Ronald Reagan, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
While Newt Gingrich is not at that level, he is definitely a cut above most Republican candidates in talking. He also represents a cherished moment in Republican history, when the GOP took the House of Representatives for the first time in 40 years as a result of Gingrich’s “Contract with America” election strategy.
But that was back in the 1990s, and many younger voters today may have no idea what that was all about. Worse yet, the former Speaker has shown too many signs of opportunism — including his wholly unnecessary swipe at Republican congressman Paul Ryan’s attempt to bring some fiscal sanity to Washington — to be trusted.
His own staff should know him better than the rest of us. Their recent resignations should mark the end of a very promising career that did not live up to all its promises. Even so, Gingrich performed a real service to the country as Speaker of the House of Representatives, which brought federal spending under control and produced what the media chose to call “the Clinton surplus.”
Among the other announced Republican presidential candidates, former governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota talks the most sense and shows the most courage. It takes guts to tell people in a corn-producing state like Iowa that you want to cut back on ethanol subsidies, because Iowa will also produce the first results in next year’s primary campaign season. And first results, like other first impressions, carry a lot of weight.
But somebody has got to talk sense about our dire economic problems — and it is painfully clear that Barack Obama will not be that somebody. The fact that Pawlenty has put his neck on the line to do so is a big plus.
Tim Pawlenty cites his track record to back up his statements. That includes reducing ethanol subsidies when he was governor of Minnesota and cutting the growth of state-government spending from just over 20 percent a year to under 2 percent a year.
Governor Pawlenty fought Minnesota’s transit unions over runaway pensions and hung tough during a long strike. “Today,” he says, “we have a transit system that gives commuters a ride, without taking the taxpayers for a ride.”
Some fear that Governor Pawlenty doesn’t have the charisma and pyrotechnic rhetoric that they would like to see in a candidate. Charisma and rhetoric are what gave us the current disastrous administration in Washington. Charisma and rhetoric gave people in other countries even bigger disasters, up to and including Hitler.
Politicians and the media may want a candidate who uses verbal fireworks, but the people want jobs. As Tim Pawlenty put it, “Fluffy promises of hope and change don’t buy our groceries, make our mortgage payments, put gas in our cars, or pay for our children’s clothes.”

* Z: I think it's only a "good thing" if we can reeducate millions of Americans, unindoctrinate them, and get an honest, unbiased media within six months.  Which can't happen.   But, we can dream.
Please send this to your friends;   they need to learn more about Pawlenty.
(thanks, Beamish)

The Bald Eagle's MAD?

Looks like the American Bald Eagle's none too happy .... not sure why, but this strikes me as slightly metaphorical............
(actually, it's a kind of Suzanne Plesthette/Tippi Hedron kind of story, so if  THE BIRDS bothered you, don't read the link!)

AARP.........what do YOU think?

I got this in email and thought I'd pass it on:

AARP's Fall from Grace

This letter was sent to Mr. Rand who is the Executive Director of AARP.

Dear Mr. Rand,

Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. I know it is not what you were looking for, but this is the most honest response I can give you. Our gap in coverage is merely a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith.

While we have proudly maintained our membership for several years and have long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse it's abdication of our values. Your letter specifically stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights, yet the voice we hear is not ours. Your offer of being kept up to date on important issues through DIVIDED WE FAIL presents neither an impartial view nor the one we have come to embrace. We do believe that when two parties agree all the time on everything presented to them, one is probably not necessary. But, when the opinions and long term goals are diametrically opposed, the divorce is imminent..  This is the philosophy which spawned our 200 years of government.

Once upon a time, we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. We also looked to AARP to provide certain benefits and give our voice a power we could not possibly hope to achieve on our own. AARP gave us a sense of belonging which we no longer enjoy. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama Regime and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the blood pressure my medical insurance strives to contain. Clearly a conflict of interest there!

We do not understand the AARP posture, feel greatly betrayed by the guiding forces that we expected to map out our senior years and leave your ranks with a great sense of regret. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership.. There are numerous other organizations which offer discounts without threatening our way of life or offending our sensibilities.

This Obama Regime scares the living daylights out of us. Not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage.
But even more importantly for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. I have never in my life endorsed any militant or radical groups, yet now I find myself listening to them. I don't have to agree with them to appreciate the fear which birthed their existence. Their borderline insanity presents little more than a balance to the voice of the Socialist mindset in power. Perhaps I became American by a great stroke of luck in some cosmic uterine lottery, but in my adulthood I CHOOSE to embrace it and nurture the freedoms it represents as well as the responsibilities it requires.

Your website generously offers us the opportunity to receive all communication in Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING???  The illegal perpetrators have broken into our 'house', invaded our home without our invitation or consent. The President has insisted we keep these illegal perpetrators in comfort and learn the perpetrator's language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them.

I  DON'T choose to welcome them.

I DON’T choose to support them.

I  DON'T choose to educate them.

I  DON'T choose to medicate them, or pay for their food or clothing.

      American home invaders get arrested.

Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get?

Why do some immigrants have to play the game to be welcomed and others only have to break the law & enter to be welcomed?

We travel for a living. Walt hauls horses all over this great country, averaging over 10,000 miles a month when he is out there. He meets more people than a politician on caffeine overdose. Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current Regime. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America . Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than ones that are driven by a need to yield AMNESTY.  (aka -  make voters out of the foreign lawbreakers so they can vote to continue the government's free handouts).   This addition of 10 to 20 Million voters who then will vote to continue Socialism will OVERWHELM our votes to control the government's free handouts.  It is a “slippery slope” we must not embark on!

As Margret Thatcher (former Prime Minister of Great Britain) once said
“Socialism is GREAT - UNTIL you run out of other people's money!”

We have decided to forward this to everyone on our mailing list, and will encourage them to do the same.... With several hundred in my address book, I have every faith that the eventual exponential factor will make a credible statement to you.

       I am disappointed as hell.

       I am scared as hell.

       I am ANGRY !!

I am MAD, and I'm NOT gonna take it anymore!
